new album. This magazine ad is very interesting.
The magazine ad uses quite abstract form of
photography in the way the faces are cut in strange
way around he eagles face. The tone of the ad
seems quite gloomy as well indicating what the
album might sound like. The font for the name of
the band is very simple but still stands out on the
black background .This cover fits many of the codes
and conventions of magazine ads. The font of the
album and the font of the band are same although
the colours are different. If fell this is so it is easy to
tell between the two. Also the use of the artist on
the front of the ad also fits the conventions as it is
fairly common to see the artist on the front the ad.
It also does a interesting job of showing each of
the band members as there faces are fragmented
around the eagle.
