INTRODUCTION
 McDonald’s was started by Richard and Maurice McDonald as a restaurant
concept in San Bernardino,California on 15th May,1940.
 Mr. Ray Kroc took over the rights from McDonald’s brothers and founded
the McDonald’s Corporations on 15th April,1995 in Des Plaines,illinois.
 The Head Quarters of The McDonalds Corporation is at Oak brook,
Illinois.
 Ronald McDonald made his debut as its ambassador in the year 1953.

coined in the year 1957
 Currently McDonald’s serves around 56+ million people worldwide everyday.
 McDonald’s currently operates 36900+ stores worldwide in 120 countries.
 It currently employees around 3,75,000+ worldwide

 There are currently a total of 5,669 company-owned locations
 31,230 franchised locations, which includes 21,559 locations franchised to
conventional franchisees, 6,300 locations licensed to developmental
licensees, and 3,371 locations licensed to foreign affiliates, primarily Japan
