KPMG, KOLEA Project
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) resulted in the development and implementation of
the KOLEA system for use by the citizens of Hawaii to aid them in submitting
applications and determining their eligibility for Federal and State medical insurance
programs and to access third-party insurance providers for those applicants not
eligible for Medicaid or other programs. Primary tasks included managing
expectations with the engagement team and escalating issues which could affect
schedule delays. Supported the Configuration Management team, Testing team,
Operations team, Functional Team, Release Management Team and the

OSI, CMIPS II Project
Performing oversight and quality assurance on prime vendor’s compliance with
contract, including IEEE standards. Identifying deficiencies and defects in contract

DTS Streaming Video RFP
Supported the development of a Draft and Final RFP to develop a multi-vendor
MSA for Streaming Video for the Department of Technology Services (DTS). Using
Microsoft Project™, built, maintained and monitored the project schedule to ensure
project was completed on time and within budget. Responsible for assisting the
Streaming Video Project Team with the development of ancillary acquisition support
documents as required during the vendor response and cost evaluation timeframe.
Responsible for creating the draft and final Evaluation handbooks, including all
forms required by the DTS Stream Video Project Team.
CMIPS II Implementation RFP.
Responsible for creating three Draft/Final RFPs to procure 25 consultant positions
to support the implementation of the CMIPS II System Integration (Re-Procurement)
Project. Created and maintained the project schedule. Responsible for creating the
draft and final Evaluation Handbooks, including creating all evaluation forms
required by the CMIPS Evaluation Team. Provided input for Implementation
Advance Planning Document (IAPD) as well as the Planning Advanced Planning
document Update (PAPDU) to the CMIPS II System Integration RFP.
CalSTRS RFP for Data Center Services
Supported the development of a draft and final RFP for Data Center Services to
replace the current services provided by Teale Data Center. Lead responsibilities in
the development of the draft and final Evaluation Handbook, including creating all
evaluation forms required by the CalSTRS RFP Evaluation Team and assisted in
training the evaluation team. Facilitated the evaluation of both the draft and final
bids and provided administrative support to the Project Manager in creating the
Final Evaluation and Selection Report. Responsible for maintaining and monitoring
the project schedule using Microsoft Project™.
CalPERS Service Request Management Project
As Project Manager, and using Microsoft Project™, developed, maintained and
monitored the project schedule. Performed first line QA of project deliverables and
issues resolution. Applied knowledge of industry best business practices and
business process re-engineering to the analysis of current Service Request
Management processes and developed straw models for the re-engineered
processes. Collected data elements/workflows necessary to support automated
processes for requesting changes to user access for supported business
applications. Collected business requirements (data elements/workflows) to support
automating System Access Management (SAM) enterprise-wide, worked closely
with Technical Staff to develop the new tool (Movaris) to support the automated
