The Mayans were an ancient civilization located in parts of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize and Honduras. They developed one of the earliest and most advanced writing systems in the Americas, with hundreds of phonetic symbols representing sounds. The Mayans built elaborate temples that also served as astronomical observatories, believing the gods created constellations with messages. While the Spanish conquered the Mayan city-states by the 17th century, the Mayan people still occupy their ancestral lands today.

This is a presentation I made on Mayan Religion. This one goes out to all the CBSE class XII students who are suffering. I nearly killed myself making this ppt along with a project file, and I really don't want anyone else going through the pain. Who in gods name asks 16 year old's to make a ruddy 50 paged project on a dead religion? That too without the use of wikipedia? If any one is in need of the entire 42 paged project file on Mayan religion, please email me and i'll send it to you.
The Maya people used a written language and a numeral system. They were good at art, building, and math. Their priests studied stars and planets, which helped them make calendars. The Maya civilization was biggest between the years of 420 AD and 900 AD.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
2. The Mayans Location
Ancient Civilization in located in
the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico
and parts of Guatemala, El
Salvador, Belize and Honduras
Maya came thousands of years
before the Aztecs
Their god is called "God of Maize"
Their first houses and shelters are
almost 4,000 years old
Their civilization of city states
weren't part of a centrally
controlled empire, but they were
more of a loos civilization each
with its own ruling family
3. The Mayans Writing System
The Maya were the only Native American society that had
a complete writing system of their own, their language
fully represents a spoken language
Mayan symbols are similar to the hieroglyphics but their
mostly Phonetic. Their symbols represent sound instead
of ideas
The Mayas had 100s of phonetic symbols they can
communicate with
Lots of things that we discovered about their language
and writing were found carved into stones and woods
painted on poetry or in a paper book called Codex
4. The Mayan Religion
The temples were built for the most important
gods, you could also use them as astronomical
observatories
They thought that the gods created
constellations in the sky to show messages
5. How were they discovered?
The Spanish discovered them, the Spanish boat
landed on the Yucatan Peninsula in 1511. They
were planning to reach Cuba but the currents
made them go west and they reached the
Peninsula of Yucatan. They were captured by the
Mayans and scarified. Only two were left
alive, their names were Geronimo de Aguilar
and Gonzalo Guerrero, they both escaped and
probably started telling people about the
Mayans and that is how they were discovered.
6. Where are the Mayans Now ?
After the Spanish had conquered the individual
city states by the end of the 17 century the
major centers of power all fallen, but the Mayan
people didn’t go anywhere, they still occupy the
same land they have lived in for 1,000 of years
The Maya civilization didn’t fall as fast as the
Incas or Aztecs
