Meeting called to order: 6:03 pm
Roll Call: Dave Barnhart performed the roll call; the following chapter officers were
present: President Ronnie Beitzel; Vice-president Phil Wright; Secretary-Treasurer Dave
Barnhart; E-Board Members Art Fondriest and Greg Wallace. Gabe Fincher was absent
Ronnie Beitzel declares a quorum.
Secretary’s Report
Dave Barnhart read the minutes from the March 17, 2015 meeting. No corrections,
additions or deletions. Art Fondriest made a motion to accept the minutes, Greg Wallace
seconded, motion carried. The minutes have been approved as read.
Treasurers Report:
As of today we have a balance of $9,965.95 in the savings account and $1,704.90 in the
checking account. No other transactions have been processed since the last meeting and I
report that all bills are paid.
The following checks have been written since the last chapter meeting: Check No. 1931
to Phil Wright, $14.73 for expenses incurred for the RTW Rally in Charleston W.VA;
Check No. 1932 to Art Fondriest, $186.73 for expenses incurred for the RTW Rally in
Charleston W.VA; Check No. 1933 to the United Steel Workers, $300.00 for hall rental;
Check No. 1934 to Dave Barnhart, $28.50 for Reimbursement May 5th voting meeting.

A vote was taken to reimburse Phil Wright and Greg Wallace for expenses incurred
attending the stewards conference in May. Greg Wallace made the motion for steward
conference reimbursement; Art Fondriest seconded the motion; motion carried.
Art Fondiest made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report; Ronnie Beitzel seconded
the motion; motion carried. The Treasurer’s report stands as read.
President’s report
A Bargaining Unit employee requested to have turn signals installed on the outside
mirrors. Discussion held.
Staff Report: Peggy Tanksley
None
State Board: Doug Korba
The Contract passed 87 to 13 and will go into effect July 1, 2015. Discussion held.
WAC Conference coming in June.
Steward’s Conference in May.
Training for new contract language in May and counts as part of the training required by
the stewards. Next training June 2nd in Cambridge.
AFSCME offering training to encourage memerbs to be more involved in union activities
and causes.

Chapter 7900 at the 2015 Convention by acclimation.
