Put the Home Page Title (Browser / Tab

Description of the entire site with
            keywords
Keywords not used anymore, but put
   some keywords for posterity.
Adds canonical tag to tell google the
official name of the page. This helps prevent
                duplication.
Determines whether to rewrite all the
titles for the different pages. This will over-
            ride your theme titles.
Usually, leaves alone. However,
sometimes, you may want a keyword in
Every Post title. You can add it here.
Usually, I leave alone. Keywords are not
used anymore, but sometimes, I won’t want
  to dynamically generate the keywords.
Adds a meta tag saying don’t index these
pages. Again, I usually leave alone to
   prevent the duplication to google.
Although, with canonical, this is not as
            much an issue.
If the AIOSEO Page Description is empty,
it will look at the excerpt. If that is empty,
it will look at the first 150 characters of
your article. I leave it checked for those
lazy posts where you don’t want to fill out
                the description.
May want to uncheck, your theme may
do this or you can type them capitalized.
No need to add extra work.
Exclude any pages, you don’t want to
      the AIOSEO to process.
These Tags add additional Meta headers
or other tags. Useful for tracking code,
JS code, or CSS code. Although, I’d do
      that within the theme itself.

Editor's Notes

  • #43 Make a site with a clear hierarchy and text links. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link. Offer a site map to your users with links that point to the important parts of your site. If the site map is larger than 100 or so links, you may want to break the site map into separate pages. Create a useful, information-rich site, and write pages that clearly and accurately describe your content. Think about the words users would type to find your pages, and make sure that your site actually includes those words within it. Try to use text instead of images to display important names, content, or links. The Google crawler doesn't recognize text contained in images. If you must use images for textual content, consider using the "ALT" attribute to include a few words of descriptive text. Make sure that your <title> elements and ALT attributes are descriptive and accurate. Check for broken links and correct HTML. If you decide to use dynamic pages (i.e., the URL contains a "?" character), be aware that not every search engine spider crawls dynamic pages as well as static pages. It helps to keep the parameters short and the number of them few. Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number (fewer than 100). Review our image guidelines for best practices on publishing images.
