Guidelines to take part in our contest. Erasmus Project: Geocaching In and Out of the Classroom - Minds on the Move

1. MATHS PHOTO CONTEST
PARTICPANTS
All students can participate. The pictures must be taken only during the activity.
THEME
The picture’s theme must be related with Maths and its different manifestations:
geometrical figures, mosaics, symmetries, numerical calculation, statistics and
random processes, etc.
PRESENTATION
The pictures must be sent through Bluetooth devices to the students in charge of gathering the
material. These students will forward all the pictures to the jury, enclosing the author’s name, a
title as well as a short description or comment.
DEADLINE
The deadline period finishes on…
JURY
It will be composed by one members of the Maths department and Erasmus teachers, who will
appreciate the originality and aptitude of the title, the image’s plastic and technical quality, its
mathematical content and the explanation given.
PRIZES
There will be 2 prizes you will enjoy.
USE OF THE IMAGES
The department reserves the right of using the images for didactical purpose.
The awarded images would be published in the school’s web page.
IMAGES AUTHORSHIP
The photos, taken exclusively during the activity, must be original.
Scanned or internet downloaded images won’t be accepted in any case.
The Maths departmentwill thoroughly check the authorship of all the awarded images, requiring
the student to demonstrate it.
Any type of retouch bringing changes to the image’s content won’t be accepted.
