30th JUNE 2016
The school coordinator informed the teacher staff and the School Council that our school has
applied for an Eramus + project and we have already been pre-selected.

We received the resolution corresponding to the projects selected in action KA219-Partners.
Our project has been chosen.
9th SEPTEMBER 2016
The coordinator of the project informed the teachers and the School Council that our project has
been approved and invited the school community to take part in it. In our school council
meeting, the Town hall representative for Education and the president of ALCI, the most
important business association, agree to cooperate with us.
The coordinator hangs a list on the bulletin board of the teachers' room so that the teachers who
are interested in the project can join the Erasmus team.
18th SEPTEMBER 2016
First meeting with the teachers who have joined the Erasmus team. It is agreed to appoint two
teachers who will work as coordinator assistants with our headmistress’ approval. The teachers
are - Juan Miguel castilla Sillero and Lidia María Campaña Barranco. A budget manager is also
appointed, Margarita Rodríguez Mazón. Besides it is agreed that every Tuesday from 10:00 to
11:00 there will be project meetings with the coordinator, assistants and teachers involved in the
activities carried out at that moment.
This list of teachers will be uploaded to our education authorities website: SÉNECA. For the
first year, the first time our work in a Erasmus project will be recognized as teachers’
extraworking hours and a certificate will be granted to teachers.

Year of ESO as the most suitable group to take
part in our project. In order to choose the best group, the teachers designed a questionnaire and
an evaluation sample to be used in the students’ selection.

First meeting with students. The teachers present the project and it is agreed to split students
into groups to start working on the required activities for our first TPM1 in Sintra: logo contests,

CHRISTMAS TIME
After our meetings with the students, they decide to go geocaching on their own. This is the first

The cooperation between us has been a complete success since the Tourist Office in our town
has found “Geocaching” a very interesting topic which is completely new for them. As a result,
they offer cooperation to organize the blended mobility and they will include our project in their
website as a very positive and attractive new proposal for tourists who come to our town. They
will also agree to take part in a round table to talk about the possibilities that “Geocaching” can
offer to our town visitors.

7th MARCH 2017
Coordinators’ meeting with our TIC teacher, Estefanía Muñoz, one of our maths teacher, Carlos
Mañas and head of studies, Germán Aragón to prepare the evaluation questionnaires for the
mobility, the guidelines for the maths photo contest. We agree on preparing a questionnaire for
each of the cache trails on paper and an online one to evaluate the whole mobility, both for
teachers and students. The maths department will be in charge of the maths contest. Teachers
will produce guidelines, collect the pictures and choose the two winners.

Meeting with the students to match couples and find hosting families for all our Erasmus guests.
There are more guests than host families so we will have to ask some students in the 4th
year
who are not involved in the project to help us. Hopefully, we’ll find enough families.

Meeting with The Erasmus team to supervise the state of art in our program activities so far.
The cache trails have been designed and a proper draft is presented. Hopefully they will be
published in a week or so.
APRIL
4TH APRIL 2017
Meeting with host families to present our program of activities. No modification is required and
we are ready for our partners’ arrival.
10TH APRIL 2017
Unfortunately, our caches have been revised and there are some problems. Publication won’t be
possible before our partners’ arrival. We meet on Monday, even though we are on holidays to
find a solution. We need a plan B. Finally, we find a way out and we can see and look for
caches using only our user. All partners will log in using our user and password. We’ll keep on
working to publish them properly.

The Erasmus team, teachers and students meet at the school in the afternoon to prepare the
decoration for the welcome event. Students have made the decoration themselves and the group

The first blended mobility takes place. 26 students and 11 teachers arrive in Loja to learn more
about Geocaching, our history, culture and folklore. The whole program was fulfilled and the
evaluation by our partners has been quite positive.

It is important to point out that we have found great support and cooperation from our local
authorities and the Loja’s Business Association ALCI. The tourism office workers have helped
us to prepare the guided visit in town and the conference in one of the most beautiful buildings
in Loja, El Pósito. Besides They contribute to our welcoming present with maps, notebooks and
some other details. With respect the ALCI, they have contributes with leaflets about business
and companies in town and the bottles of Loja’s water that we have given to all our visitors.
We must also mention one of the best bakeries in town, Bonachera, who collaborate with us in
the distribution of Loja’s “roscos” as the final present found in the last cache in the viewpoint
multicache activity. All the students who found the cache get a ticket for a sweet prize in this
shop. Finally, as part of our program, we have asked the flamenco association in Loja, “La Peña
Flamenca” to organize for teachers and parents a flamenco show. Parents and teacher have
enjoyed a wonderful evening event which has helped us to meet each other.

beginning of June. We also agree to turn our blog into a weebly since it is much more dynamic
and attractive for the students. Finally, in coordination with the PE department, at the beginning

Meeting of Erasmus coordinator and attendants to evaluate Lithuanian mobility and organize
the work to be done before of the summer holidays. We set a meeting with the students to
supervise the work to publish our caches, the creation of our weebly and the most important
item is to decide the students who will attend the mobility in Italy and Greece. We decide that
the work they have done and their participation in all the activities carried out so far will be the
main point in order to choose students. As a consequence we ask our students to write down a
description of their participation in the project and this, together with the teachers’
recommendation will be the base to choose students for mobilities.
9th JUNE 2017
Meeting with the students. We congratulate our students for the great work they have done to
prepare the geocaching experience for their partners in the school. With respect to the work to
be done, they are still working on the caches and our weebly and it seems they won’t be finished
till the end of June. The coordinators collect the students’ descriptions of the project work done
and their preferences for the mobilities. A list with the teachers’ final decision will be upload to

Even though our Town Hall and the AlCI, the most important business association in town,
have been cooperating with us from the very beginning of this project, we have finally signed a
cooperation agreement with the Town Hall and we’ll do the same with the ALCI shortly.

27th JUNE 2017
We have convened a meeting on the last Tuesday of this year before summer holidays because
we want to ask our students to finish the work, talk about the Twinspace contests and make a
proposal for this summer. We will ask our students in nearby villages to create caches based on
food and those done in Bollène before the end of July and in August the students from Loja and
teachers who desire to go with them will visit their partners to search for their caches. Let’s see
if it is possible.
The coordinator meets with the school principal, the accountant and revise the expenses
according to the project budget. We decide to buy the flight tickets to Italy before the end of
June and the Greek ones as soon as we receive the money from our agency. This is the best way
to save money.
5th JULY 2017
Our students have done it once more. Today it has been published the multicache based on the
French model. We are already organizing a geocaching experience with the Spanish team and
their parents to search for them.

AUGUST 2017
As we agreed with our students in July, on August 18, 12 students and 3 teachers went to
Ventorros de San José and Zagra to find the caches our students had created. It was a very hot
morning, but it was definitely worth it. The reward at the end of the route was to obtain the
typical recipe of croquettes in the area and taste them in the most famous place in the town of
Zagra.

We hold a meeting with the project monitoring committee that this course will consist of our
principal, Head of Studies, Deputy Director, coordinator, assistant coordinating professors and
the Center's ICT coordinator. The summary of last year's activities is commented, the project is
assessed and the budget spent so far is monitored. We also decided that it will continue to meet
every time the coordinator requires and at the end of each term. There is a second permanent
committee : the coordinator, the assistant coordinators, the ICT and some others teachers
depending on the work at the moment:

We agree to buy tickets for the mobility in Greece in November since the tickets to Greece are
really expensive because there is no direct flight from Málaga.
In the teaching staff meeting the coordinator informs that our project continues in this new
course and teachers are reminded that participation in the project implies certification in Seneca
of 25 hours of work valid for the six-year periods. Shortly we will have a meeting to review the
work done and the proposals for this new course.
Meeting with the teachers who collaborated with the project last year to confirm its continuity
and be able to include all the details in the Seneca program of the Junta de Andalucía. In this
meeting the summary of the activities of the previous course is presented, the expenses and
remaining budget for the activities that we have to do are presented and the classmates are asked
to review the request to be able to carry out all the activities to the that we are committed and
able to collect proposals for improvement and new ideas for this course that begins. The

Meeting of the permanent committee of teachers to organize the meeting that will take place
next week with the Erasmus students to organize the first term of work and the activities that we
have to take for the second mobility with students or "blended mobility" (C2) to the City of
Novara (Italy). In our common google drive, the students already have the list of couples.
Being a combined mobility and also a transnational mobility, the coordinator will travel as the
teacher who must be in the transnational mobility as agreed in Lithuania and Juan Miguel
Castilla, our expert teacher in geocaching. Since most of the programmed activities will be
dedicated to checking the caches created by colleagues and making suggestions for
improvement, the students chosen for the mobility are those who have developed the most their
knowledge on geocaching.

Meeting with the Erasmus students in which the tasks to be carried out are decided and the
students who will participate in the different mobilities of this course are chosen. The skills
required for the activities to be carried out in the different countries, as well as the involvement
and participation in the tasks carried out so far, will determine the mobility to which each
student attends. Your personal preferences will also be taken into account, when possible. Both
the list of activities, as well as the list of students and mobilities are uploaded to our common

5th OCTUBER 2017
Meeting with the parents of the students who will attend the mobility that will take place in
Italy, from 8th to 14th
of October. The program of activities is presented and the transfer to
Malaga airport is organized.
6th OCTUBER 2017
Meeting during the break to prepare the activities for the Italian mobility: oral presentation of
our people. The students choose several objects: small bottle of oil, some object of pottery from
Granada, photos of our olive groves and villages. These objects and the presentation will be
carried out in various classes of the Italian school.
In addition, students are encouraged to take pictures so that when they return, a presentation of
photos and an article about the mobility will be made.

The coordinator and Lidia Campaña, teachers who will go to Thessaloniki, meet the students to
check the agenda together and decide on the work to be ready for it.
It is important for these students to know as much as possible about the Etwinning space since
our Greek experts in it will give us guidelines to work and finally get the quality labels in our
country and in Europe. It is also important to download the Greek map in our mobiles and an
application that read Q codes. Besides, the Greek team has proposed to apply for the Europass
and we need to get information from our National Agency.
The students will translate the Greek agenda into Spanish so that we can give it to their parents.
The team agrees on a chart with the activities to be done along this second year of project.

18th JANUARY 2018
We received an email with the approval of our interim report. We are happy because it is
considered complete and of good quality according to the evaluators. It is really good news
since we have a lot of projects and little money left now.
The coordinator meets with the Town Hall representative for tourism and the president of the
business association ALCI in the Town Hall. They agree to keep on collaborating with us in all
the activities we decide to plan The coordinator asks them cooperation to plan “a Geocaching
Week in Loja” with different activities such as stands in the open air, a conference in a town
hall building, taking part in radio and TV interviews in the local media, a geocaching event to
try our own caches. They love the idea and the coordinator promises to send them a formal
activity program as soon as she meets with teachers and students at school.
This same day in the afternoon, there is a meeting with the parents of the students who will
attend the mobility that will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 5th
to the 10th
of February.
The program of activities is presented and the transfer to Malaga airport is organized

The team take part in the mobility with great involvement of our students who work hard to
learn and find caches. Now we are prepared to work on the Twinspace more efficiently.
While we are in Greece, the rest of members of the Erasmus team organize a geocaching
experience with our German partners from Peine. Students together with Spanish teachers of the
Erasmus team go geocaching in Loja. After this experience, our students also look for caches in
Germany.

The students attending the mobility in Portugal have to fill in the chart with their personal
information to be sent to the Portuguese coordinator so that she can make couples and starts
working on her agenda for the moblitiy.
As the geocaching week in Loja will be celebrated in April, we have to work on the activity

MARCH 2018
We meet with the students who will go to Portugal in April. We have received the Portuguese
agenda and one of the many activities to be carried out will be the design of a comic in
multinational teams. This will be the final task in our Etwinning project. It will be a summary of
these years working in a comic strip. Using the twinspace, our students will contact their
partners and they will start working asap. The Greek students will coordinate this activity.
20th MARCH 2018
The students have finished the designs of our posters, brochures, banner, etc with the help of the
ITC teacher, Estefanía Muñoz. We are ready to send them to a professional designer to have
them printed for our dissemination event. We also have the approval of the Town Hall.
We have received an email from our French partners who want us to translate their caches in the
Twinspace. Three Spanish students volunteer to do it.

Meeting with students during the school break in the morning to doublecheck details of our
geocaching week. Now we are ready to promote geocaching in Loja. We hope people will be
interested and take part in the activities.
10th APRIL 2018
There is a meeting with the parents of the students who will attend the mobility that will take
place in Sintra, Portugal from 15th
to the 21st
of April. The program of activities is presented
and the transfer to Malaga airport bus station is organized. Our team will go to Portugal by bus.

Students create an instagram , Twitter and Facebook account to promote the Project a Little
more. It seems that social networks are the best publicity ever: MoraimaErasmus Geocaching
5th JUNE 2018
Meeting with students to evaluate the work on Etwinning since the project will be finished on
the 10th
of June. The coordinator asks the students to send her screenshots with their answer.
Besides, we revise the work done and the work to be finished. Some caches like the water
cache 2 are being revised for publication. In fact, most of our caches are working properly now.
We are going to organize a geocaching activity for the last school day. First of all, it is
necessary to teach our students in the 1st
year of ESO to go geocaching.
19th and 20th
JUNE 2018
Short lecture about geocaching by our team to the youngest students. The following day we
practice geocaching inside the school. We have created a trail of 4 caches within the school and
obviously they can’t be public. They are part of the training process of our students. They don’t
have to leave the school to learn geocaching.

28th JUNE 2018
The youngest students go geocaching in Loja. We think that if we manage to involve the
youngest students in geocaching, the long life of this project will be guaranteed.
As a matter of fact, students have proposed and we consider it a great idea to create a
geocaching club. Most of the students in the Erasmus team will finish school in 2019, so it
seems necessary to look for students who can keep their work alive. This will be one of the task
next course.

29th JUNE 2018
Meeting of the school committee with the principal, accountant and rest of members. The
school accountant, Margarita Rodríguez, shows as a summary with all the expenses so far and
the coordinator explains the activities that have to be done before the end of the project in
November 30th
and asks for permission to buy the flight tickets to Poland in July since they are
expensive and the closer the date of departure, the more expensive they will be. The committee
agrees on it.
The implementation of the project seems to be very satisfactory and we consider that the
students are doing a great job. They have demonstrated that can work on their own and quite
often they only need supervision and advice. Most of the work is being done by them and we
are very proud of it.
At the beginning of the new year at school we will meet again to supervise the last mobilities,
expenses and so on since we will have to borrow some money from the school to be able to
finish the planned schedule.
7th SEPTEMBER 2018
The permanent Erasmus committee meets to organize the Polish mobility which will take place
at the end of September. We agree on having a meeting with the student the first day of lessons
because there is little time left to complete the activities.
17th SEPTEMBER 2018
The first teacher staff meeting takes place and the coordinator remember the teachers in the
Erasmus team that the project won’t finish until the end of November and there is still work to
do. She informs that an email with the state of art and future mobilities and activities will be
sent to them as soon as possible.
Later in the morning the coordinator and Juan Miguel Castilla meet with the students travelling
to Poland. There are a few task to prepare: a collage of pictures for the cache of memory, a
stand with Spanish products for the international exhibition and a presentation for the
conference for local teachers that will be held in Kielce. The coordinator suggests going to the
local olive oil factory and try to find a good sponsor who can give us the local products.
We also meet with the parent of the students who will go to Poland on the 22nd
at the school in
the afternoon.

During the Polish mobility we agreed on celebrate the 30th
anniversary of the Erasmus + project.
The idea is that all the countries will promote a geocaching event in their towns. The best date
for them all was the 12th
of October and even though it is a bank holiday at home, we decided to

The new geocaching club is created. Erasmus Students meet during the school break and
present their partners the activity program for this year.

Our principial, Mrs. María Victoria Fernández Requena announced that she won’t be at school
until the end of the year for health problems and it will be the Principal Deputy and coordinator
of the project, Mrs. María del Carmen Ortiz Cuesta, who will be in her position. As a
consequence, the coordinator will contact the National Agency, SEPIE, to know exactly the
documents we need to justify that the final report will be signed by a different person.
30TH
OCTOBER 2018
Meeting of the permanent committee to deal with the activities to be done in Italy (M6). We
will work on the final report altogether, so we revise our documents, budget and any necessary
information that can help. Besides, there will be a conference for teachers about geocaching.
The Italian coordinator has asked us to present the same prezi work we brought to Poland
because she considered it is one of the best example about how to work with geocaching in
education: “More than hiking in the mountains”

11th -15th NOVEMBER
Last transnational mobility in Novara, Italy. The partners meet to work on the common final
report to help our coordinator who is responsible for a final report about the whole project. At
the same time, we also fill in our own model. The Spanish team designs a final evaluation
online questionnaire for both teachers and students.
We also have the opportunity to take part in a conference about geocaching in the Italian
schools with attendance of teachers and students from other schools in Novara.

The National agency confirms that the document we sent them can be used to justify the
principal’s substitution.
30th NOVEMBER 2018
Final meeting of the permanent committee to finish the project. The accountant together with
the coordinator update the mobility tool and revise invoices and expenses. It seems that
everything is done and we are ready to write the final report.
CERTAINLY IT HAS BEEN THE MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCE FOR OUR
SCHOOL SO FAR. HOPEFULLY, IT WON’T BE THE LAST ONE.
