Who brought forth Marxism?
• A man named Karl Marx wanted to
create a working class society in
which people worked based on their
    abilities and took only their
    necessities.
• When all of society was retrained, he
believed they would have an effective
    system
• Marx admitted the feat would take
time, and claimed that all of society
    would need to be completely
    retrained
• Marx released The Communist
Manifesto in 1848. This book kick
    started his ideology to much
    controversy
What is Marxism all about?
             • Every person needed to fulfill their
                 responsibilities to society. Only then
                 will the system work
             • Each and every person is a working
cog in the machine, and it only takes
one failure to throw the machine off
                 balance. Therefore, people should
provide what they are good at, and
                 take only what they need.
             • Marx wanted a society without
                 greed, class division, poverty, and
                 social construct
             • He did not believe that a man should
be held about another man, he
                 wanted true, pure eqaulity
When did this Ideology start?

becomes editor-in-chief of the Rheinische and Engels defend their

    democracy to communist ideas
• December 1, 1845, Marx renounces his
    Prussian citizenship due to mounting
    persecution by the Prussian police
• March 27 1849, Publication of the Russian
translation of Volume I of Capital, its first
    foreign edition
Where did Marxism occur?
• Marx was born in Trier, Germany
• He spent much of his political time in
  Paris, England, Prussia, and Germany
• After controversy following his published
books, Marx was often forced out of these
  countries
• Marx never truly gave up, and kept fighting for
his cause, regardless of the barring
Why did this all come to be?
• The answer is simple. The world was living in
  societies full of class
fragmentation, poverty, low quality of life, and
low life expectancy rates. Marx knew that if he
could fix these things, the world would be a
  much better place
• Marx knew that these changes would not
happen by asking nicely, and stressed the
need for quick, strong willed action
Extreme Controversies
• Marxism shook up the status quo, and challenged classical liberal
beliefs and values. Not only did he wish to create a totally brand
new society, he wanted to implement services which the world had
  never seen before
• People were scared of these ideas, scared of change, and scared of
destabilization. They thought there system, although horrible, was
stable, and many did not want to risk that.
• Marx was plagued by a lack of technology, and a very state run
Europe. He was fighting against a giant brick wall, and without the
support of many citizens, he would never get over.
• That was no deterrent to Marx however, he would rather plow
through the wall than climb over it
Would Marxism work?
• The short and simple answer is yes.
• Although the system would be extremely time consuming, and
difficult to implement, it would work
• Provided nice conditions, and provided that no one has the crazy
idea to topple the system, it is a very feasible ideology
• An equal society, a healthy society, and a happy society are all
possible outcomes for Marxism. Once fully implemented, there
would be no need for a state, no need for intervention, and no
  need for dividing a nation
• In theory, once the system is implemented, there would also be no
crime, and no need for law enforcement. However this would be
one of the very last benefits to come, as many more pressing issues
  would need to be addressed.
