including donors, reaching the right people for their programs,
establishing leadership, and advocating around their core issues

to educate or create certain emotions

 Emotions can be effectively integrated into a brand strategy
to drive positive results

 Every nonprofit is now a media organization
 Tools of visual storytelling are inexpensive, easy to use and accessible to the masses
Nonprofits have to take advantage of the different benefits that social media provides
such as raising awareness, fostering engagement, and expanding their network
Once an organization has a visual story, it can use it in its public outreach:
website or blog, Facebook page, annual report, email marketing
campaigns, and newsletters
Social media is playing a vital role in marketing for
nonprofit organizations

a cause only when they feel an emotional
connection and the content is RELEVANT
