Introduction
The client is the dominant manufacturers of LED products in Germany. They are specialists in applying
the latest high powered LED technology for today’s lighting requirements. They have more than a
decade of experience in designing and developing electronic solutions.
The Objective
The company wanted to enter the UAE market for distribution of their LED products. They were looking
for a host company to assist them for a smooth entry into the U.A.E market. The client contacted Intuit
Management Consultancy to provide them the support they needed to enter the UAE market.
The Challenge
The host companies had certain criterions to be met by the client. For some companies, the new entrants
had to provide incentives like lower pricing, promotions and mutual advertising.
The Solution
Intuit reviewed the client’s requirements and carried out a wide spread research based on their needs.
We studied the current market and analyzed the opportunities for the client. We wrote a thorough
business plan that describes our client’s business objective. Once that was done, we studied various
channels to look for suitable companies to enter the UAE market. We developed effective strategies to
overcome all the possible threats for the client. We initiated meetings with the potential host companies
and discussed about the clients requirements. After an extensive research, we were able to find two
companies that could assist our client.
Summary
We acted as the mediator between the host companies and our client. They were satisfied with the result
and chose the appropriate company as per their requirement as their distributor. The host company
shortlisted by us and chosen for our client had distributors all around the world which further enhanced
the growth of their company. Now our client has access to distributors not only in UAE but also in other
markets.
