The five major concepts of marketing philosophy are the production concept, which focuses on efficiency; the product concept, which focuses on quality and innovation; the selling concept, which emphasizes promotional efforts; the marketing concept, which is determining and satisfying customer needs better than competitors; and the societal marketing concept, which maintains customer and societal well-being.
