Idea for the CEO event

Intro to the game
There are three rounds in the game .
Round1. logo designing and logo redesigning.
Round2. make a one act play : advertisement
Round3. if you are the marketier of a failed product,
what will be your next step?
ROUND 1.
LOGO DESIGNING AND LOGO REDESIGNING.
What is it all about?
- a competion in which a team of 4 students will
be asked to
(i). make a whole new logo for any (existing)
product of their choice.
(ii). Redesign the logo of an existing company .
Part (i). make a whole new logo for any (existing) product of their
choice.
Explanation: any product (example: chocolates or mobiles or pens
etc.) can be choosed by the students and a completely new) logo
has to be created for the choosen product.
Part (ii). Redesign the logo of an existing company .
Explation :redesigning of a logo bacically would mean making the
already existing logo better and more attractive. (not revamping but
just adding on to the existing one )
.this one would be done through a chit system . The names of certain
well-known companies will be given on the chits and one of the
members of the each group would be asked to pick a chit and work
on logo redesigning on the given logo of the company. The students
will be declairing the given name of the company and a outlined print
out of the logo of the company would be given to the team and they
will have to work on it.
this one can be done through a repetative or non repetative chit
system based on the no. of teams.
Rules and regulations for
round 1.
A team of 4 people has to be made in which not more than 2 people
can be of the same school. (SO EACH SCHOOL HAS A FAIR
CHANCE TO BE SELECTED)
The time frame is about 45minutes (creating.) and 2-3/3-4minutes
(for presentation in front of judges.)
The logos have to be presented in front of the respective judges and
a reason for why do you think the logos will work for the product and
brand respectively have to be provided by each member.
Evaluation on the basis of presentation(50%) and creativity (50%)
Selection on basis of scores.
No. of selected teams – on the basis of no of participants.
ROUND 2.
MAKING A ONE ACT PLAY : AN ADVERTISMENT TO BE AIRED
ON TELEVISION.
What is it all about?
- in this people can have a team of 2-6 people . Any product / or
brand -(existing or not existing) can be choosen by each group and
a advertisment-play has to be performed in front of the judges and
the audience.
Examle – one can be the brand ambassador and the others the
supporting actors or real people ads like that of room freshners, or
no brand abassador.
Rules and regulations for
round 2.
Preperation time is 30 minutes.
Performance time : 3-5minutes by each group .
Group of 4/6 members (depending on the no. of
participants)
Evaluation – scores for each member of the team
Selection – (x) no. of students selected from each
team on the basis of individual performance
No of selections- based on the no. of teams
participating.
ROUND 3.
if you are the marketier of a failed product, what will be
your next step?
Explanation- this will be a individual player round in
whicheach participent will be asked to give their next
step for the given situation .
The situation would be same for all.
The situation- you are the marketier of a xyz co. and
your brand sales have gone down due to the issue of a
new competitor in the market . What will your next step
be if it is the situation of do or die, i.e. get the sales up
through your marketing or leave the job. What will you do
now???
Rules and regulations for
round 3.
Individual performance.
Give your idea of what your next step would be and
why in writing or orally .
Thinking time : 15 minutes.
Writing time : 15-30 minutes./ speaking time: 2-5
minutes. (as per what the cell members and teachers
feel is more appropriate)
Evauation on the basis of creativity of the idea .
Selection on the basis of scores by the judges.
Result –most enthusiastic participant , 1st, 2nd, 3rd , most
challenging competitor on the basis of the voting by the
1st 2nd and 3rd runner ups.

  • 4. Part (i). make a whole new logo for any (existing) product of their choice. Explanation: any product (example: chocolates or mobiles or pens etc.) can be choosed by the students and a completely new) logo has to be created for the choosen product. Part (ii). Redesign the logo of an existing company . Explation :redesigning of a logo bacically would mean making the already existing logo better and more attractive. (not revamping but just adding on to the existing one ) .this one would be done through a chit system . The names of certain well-known companies will be given on the chits and one of the members of the each group would be asked to pick a chit and work on logo redesigning on the given logo of the company. The students will be declairing the given name of the company and a outlined print out of the logo of the company would be given to the team and they will have to work on it. this one can be done through a repetative or non repetative chit system based on the no. of teams.
  • 5. Rules and regulations for round 1. A team of 4 people has to be made in which not more than 2 people can be of the same school. (SO EACH SCHOOL HAS A FAIR CHANCE TO BE SELECTED) The time frame is about 45minutes (creating.) and 2-3/3-4minutes (for presentation in front of judges.) The logos have to be presented in front of the respective judges and a reason for why do you think the logos will work for the product and brand respectively have to be provided by each member. Evaluation on the basis of presentation(50%) and creativity (50%) Selection on basis of scores. No. of selected teams – on the basis of no of participants.
  • 6. ROUND 2. MAKING A ONE ACT PLAY : AN ADVERTISMENT TO BE AIRED ON TELEVISION. What is it all about? - in this people can have a team of 2-6 people . Any product / or brand -(existing or not existing) can be choosen by each group and a advertisment-play has to be performed in front of the judges and the audience. Examle – one can be the brand ambassador and the others the supporting actors or real people ads like that of room freshners, or no brand abassador.
  • 7. Rules and regulations for round 2. Preperation time is 30 minutes. Performance time : 3-5minutes by each group . Group of 4/6 members (depending on the no. of participants) Evaluation – scores for each member of the team Selection – (x) no. of students selected from each team on the basis of individual performance No of selections- based on the no. of teams participating.
  • 8. ROUND 3. if you are the marketier of a failed product, what will be your next step? Explanation- this will be a individual player round in whicheach participent will be asked to give their next step for the given situation . The situation would be same for all. The situation- you are the marketier of a xyz co. and your brand sales have gone down due to the issue of a new competitor in the market . What will your next step be if it is the situation of do or die, i.e. get the sales up through your marketing or leave the job. What will you do now???
  • 9. Rules and regulations for round 3. Individual performance. Give your idea of what your next step would be and why in writing or orally . Thinking time : 15 minutes. Writing time : 15-30 minutes./ speaking time: 2-5 minutes. (as per what the cell members and teachers feel is more appropriate) Evauation on the basis of creativity of the idea . Selection on the basis of scores by the judges.
  • 10. Result –most enthusiastic participant , 1st, 2nd, 3rd , most challenging competitor on the basis of the voting by the 1st 2nd and 3rd runner ups.
