1. The most important piece of work experience you've had that will help you
to do this job well.
My eight years as an executive assistant in my last position have prepared me to serve well in this
opportunity for the following reasons:
Comfortable in Virtual Environment:
My immediate supervisor worked from home and his 11 direct reports lived in different cities, so we
operated within a virtual environment. We met quarterly but our primary communication was through
emails and conference calls.
Because things can get “lost in translation” when communicating primarily through email/call, I learned
the importance of getting to know my team so I knew when to take statements at face value or
discern when to ask follow up questions in order to execute my assignments.
I know how to work efficiently and effectively without daily interaction and minimal instructions.
Because of the high volume of requests I received (200 email daily) I successfully prioritized tasks to

Project Management:
I became very comfortable receiving projects with minimal instructions and executive from start to finish.
Completed two renovations ($250K and $500K budgets) where I served the project manager and
facilitated the work between the construction/architectural/HVAC teams. Despite having
limited knowledge in construction, I was able to finish both projects with minimal involvement
from my manager.
Oversaw a billing project for lab fees. Working directly with the almost 100 clinic managers, I was

Routinely planned meetings and special events. My manager would tell me what he wanted to
host, the dates and the budget. Typically, he wasn’t involved again until a few days before the
event to finalize what I had prepared. Although initially a daunting task, I successfully planned
2. The personality trait that will best support you in succeeding with us.
I love to learn.
I’m energized by always learning something new.
I enjoy the process of going from total ignorance of a subject to being able to have an informed
opinion and understand the major aspects and/or viewpoints.
For as long as I can remember, my personal mantra has been “I just want to know.” When introduced
to an idea or concept that is new, I’m curious about how thing works and/or the human behavior
behind it and connecting all the dots in-between. That ability has served me well professionally as I
can capable of learning a lot about a new subject in a relatively short time frame to accomplish a
goal.
I feel being able to quickly pick up and learn new skills and learn subject can help me succeed in
contributing to your team.
3. What about our organization most resonates with you
as a place you want to work.
“Don’t join an easy crowd; you won’t grow.
Go where the expectations and the demands to perform are high.” - Jim Rohn
As an avid reader of your work for the last two years, I appreciate your value as a writer and an entrepreneur. You have
the ability to write in such a way to attract people to you and move them to action. At the same time, you’ve been able
to astutely use your platform to create the life you want while making a difference in the world.
Now that you’re preparing to expand your team, it’s obvious that you want to grow your current platform to burn an
even brighter light to help people break free of the status quo and live with fulfillment. I would love to be a part of a
team that has such an aspiring mission.
I’ve been moved for some time to contribute to the world on a much greater scale, but unsure the best way to do so. I
know that the work will be challenging and force me outside of my comfort zones at various times. But as the Jim
Rohn quote above indicates, in order to grow, I need to get connected with others who will challenge me to become
the best that I’m capable of achieving. Because of how your work has resonated with me, I’m confident that I will
working on your team will provide the knowledge and tools I need to move to the next level in my personal
