I have used Skype in the past. How is WePow different from Skype?

What equipment is needed to use WePow’s video interviewing solution?
Does my IT team need to get involved?
For candidates to complete a WePow video interview they will need a computer with
an internet connection, a webcam and microphone. WePow is fully browser based so
no additional software needs to be downloaded. Candidates can also complete interviews
via their beloved mobile device (iOS & Android)!
For organizations a webcam will be needed to record interview questions. If your
WePow application. In most cases though, IT never has to get involved (typically only
for complex integrations). Recruiting and hiring managers can access candidate
responses via our secure web application.
My legal team says I need to keep candidate information to be
compliant. How does WePow handle candidate data?
Video responses and all other candidate information are stored for a minimum of
12-24 months depending on your WePow video interviewing plan. Data can be exported
and supplied to organizations upon request (additional fees may apply).

Who owns all of this data and where is it stored?
You own your data! WePow stores all data for clients in the cloud so it is just a click
away. The data is continually backed-up and securely stored (every hour up to 24
hours and every day up to 30 days).
Where does WePow video interviewing fit into my process?
WePow video interviewing can be used for just about every step of your recruitment
process. Clients most often use WePow’s pre-recorded video interviewing to replace
the initial phone screen. In doing so, they have saved as much at 89% of their recruiting
cost. WePow’s live and panel video interviewing solutions are often used for later
stage interviews and as a way to expand their recruitment efforts across geographical
areas while lowering travel cost.
What about discrimination? Does video interviewing promote
discrimination?
Absolutely not! The EEOC has spoken up about video interviewing, mentioning that
there is “no inherent bias” found in these solutions. The EEOC recommends that companies
implement the same best practices as they use for phone and in-person interviews.

My IT team is concerned about security. Is personal information
secure?
You bet! WePow leverages the Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, which
provides enterprise level reliability and security. The WePow application and databases
