I did this holiday recount on my iPad and printed it out and put it on our class wall.

1. Muriwai Beach
In the holidays my whole family, my cousins and my friends went to a beach called Muriwai
Beach in 2, 7 seater cars.
When we reached there we got our boogie boards, rushed down the hot black sand and
jumped into the warm, rough water. The hot black sand was burning my feet. When we
jumped into the water the waves were huge. Some of my cousins went to the deepest bit
where the waves were even more huge. Some waves just got on top of another and when
the waves hit you, you would nearly drown. Even I was about to drown in the yucky, sandy
waves. After our parents got in the beach, it was more fun with them.
After having fun in the beach we all got out and started eating our delicious food. We first
had some Indian food then we had chicken and cheese flavoured sausages with spicy red
chicken and a fizzy drink. Yum!
After eating our food we went back into the beach for an hour. After the hour we left the
beach and got dressed into our clothes and started packing up to go home.
It was a fun time at Muriwai Beach in my holidays and I would like to go back there one
day.
