Malaria remains a major public health issue in Africa, causing nearly 900,000 deaths per year. Effective prevention and treatment tools exist but require widespread distribution and use. Global funding for malaria control has increased in recent years but more is needed. Participants in the workshop were encouraged to develop effective sales pitches to recruit cross-sector partners, such as governments, businesses, and community groups, to support expanded malaria control efforts. Developing a clear ask along with an articulation of how partners can leverage their assets and positions was advised. Practice was provided to hone pitching skills.
