A Saudi group of companies founded in the late sixties by Mr. Sabih Taher Masri. ASTRA has grown steadily
into a diversified Group with operations in fields ranging from agriculture to trading, manufacturing,
contracting services, medical & healthcare, and real estate, with subsidiaries and affiliates in other Middle
East and Gulf countries.
Commercial Branch General Manager – With overall responsibility for eleven (11) supermarkets, a
bakery, a sweet factory, a whole sales division, a gas station and a restaurant, successfully managed,
achieved and had overall responsibility for the following:
 Overall management of the Tabuk branch including all aspects of personal, business operation,
growth and planning, business organization, and business development.
 Promoted ASTRA’s name in the Kingdom in general and in the Tabuk Area in particular.
 Development and implementation of the Branch’s annual business plan and budget in line with the
Group’s strategy.
 Maintenance and improvement of quality, work methods and procedures.

 Directed and coordinated overall branch procurement activities.
 Developed, planned and coordinated with corporate marketing the branch’s marketing and
promotional activities to enhance ASTRA’s market share and overall sales.
 Set methods and procedures to ensure compliance with Group business goals and objectives.
 Developed and implemented integrated plans to optimize market share and profitability of existing
and new product lines.
 Led the effort in conducting regular market analysis based on analysis of competitive activities,

 Coordinated all aspects of business operations in the supermarket.
