This are the interiors of the Merindol Colony in 2137ad after the Climate Change Collapse and the Apocalipse Wars. Merindol is a small Colony in the Italian Alps where there are around 4000 humans. The Colony values mainly around meritocracy and selection by effort.

2. General Concept
• The main idea for my magazine centralises around delivering the
newest media news to young audiences, roughly aged 12-30.
• This magazine would focus mainly on Film and TV news coverage,
highlighting characters, sets, and other things associated with the
production of movies and even some Hollywood news sprinkled in-
between the main articles.
• My magazine will be called “Kinoverse”, with the word ’kino’
meaning cinema in a few European languages, and verse referring
to a universe full of movies and other such media types.
3. Genre
• This magazine is focused mainly on media (specifically movies and TV
shows).
• This would mean that the articles would often be consisting of
interviews with actors, directors, and other people involved in the
production of popular movies and shows.
• This would mean that my double-page spread would likely be an
interview with the actor presented on the front cover, which is a
common occurrance.
• This would also open up the opportunity to have “exclusive photoshoots”
for my magazine, which would make it appear unique as popular
magazines often have images of actors or models that are exclusive to
their brand.
4. Audiences
• The main target audience is both males and females ages 12-30.
• This would mean that I would have to tailor my article tones and some
layout choices to fit my target audience’s preferences.
• This means that I would have to have a more informal approach to my
articles (casual humor, wordplay and pop-culture references are some of
the things that define this particular style of writing) as modern
magazines that aim for younger audiences often do this and it has
proven to be successful in their cases.
• This target audience would also mean that I would have to alter my
colour scheme to fit with the preferences of the modern generation.
• I would most likely use WHITE, LIGHT BLUE, GREY, BLACK, BLUE and
TURQOISE.
5. Topics
• Since I have decided to focus my magazine on mostly movies and
TV shows, the list of topics for its content is relatively simple.
• The main topics would focus on the newest movies and TV shows,
interviewing the actors, directors and others involved.
• Some of the other side articles could focus of=n other news that is
related to Hollywood as a brand – celebrity couples, Hollywood
box office results, the Oscars etc.

• Overall, considering my design, initial concept for the genre, style
and topic that I will cover in my double page spread article, I
believe that the magazine that I am planning to create will be a
success.
• I will also keep in mind my target demographic of young casual
movie enthusiasts (aged 12-30) when applying my colour scheme,
layout, and when writing my initial article, so that everything that
I include in the magazine will be relevant to the readers.
