The red panda lives in forested mountain habitats in Central China, Nepal, Myanmar, and Bhutan, where it eats insects, fruits, and bamboo. Its predators include snow leopards, martens, and humans. If the red panda lived in Antarctica, it would need to adapt to the extremely cold climate by growing thick fur for insulation, running fast to find food and avoid predators, and having strong jaws to eat frozen fish.
