Macbeth Essay Questions
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Macbeth Essay Questions" can be a challenging yet
intellectually rewarding endeavor. The play "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare is a complex
work filled with intricate characters, profound themes, and layered narratives. Addressing essay
questions related to Macbeth requires a deep understanding of the play's nuances, characters'
motivations, and the broader socio-political context in which the events unfold.
One of the difficulties lies in interpreting the psychological transformations of Macbeth and
Lady Macbeth. Analyzing their motives, internal conflicts, and the consequences of their actions
demands careful consideration of the text's subtleties. Unraveling the play's themes, such as
ambition, power, and the corrupting influence of unchecked desire, adds another layer of
complexity to the essay.
Moreover, responding to essay questions may involve delving into the historical and cultural
context of Shakespeare's time, as well as exploring various critical perspectives on the play. This
depth of analysis requires extensive research and critical thinking to provide a well-rounded and
insightful response.
Another challenge is avoiding the trap of providing a mere summary of the plot, which can be
tempting given the richness of the narrative. Instead, the essay should engage with the questions
in a way that demonstrates a nuanced understanding of the characters and themes, offering
original insights and interpretations.
In conclusion, while composing an essay on "Macbeth Essay Questions" presents its challenges,
the process can be intellectually stimulating and rewarding for those who appreciate the
intricacies of literary analysis. The key lies in a thorough understanding of the play, critical
thinking, and the ability to express ideas coherently. For those seeking assistance, various
resources and services, such as HelpWriting.net, offer support in navigating the complexities of
literary analysis and essay writing.

Confederate Women In The Film Gone With The Wind
In the film Gone With the Wind directed by Victor Fleming, we get a glimpse of what
life was like during the American Civil War and Reconstruction period from the
perspective of a confederate woman. Fleming uses techniques like foreshadowing,
symbolism, and imagery to create depth and enhance the themes within. Throughout
the film, the emphasis on race, gender roles, and southern culture are shown through
the characters and their actions. Scarlett O Hara, the main protagonist of the film,
demonstrates the transformation of southern culture during the Civil War. Before
the Civil War, all women were expected to live up to the stereotype and stay pretty ,
eventually marry to have children, and accomplish household duties. This is
portrayed in the film by the way the women always prioritize dressing up and
focusing on having beaus . In addition, we see how this stereotype alters... Show more

During this time, slavery was very prominent and an important part of history.
Between the two races, we see tension in the way they are belittled. Their vocabulary
is dumbed down making them seem simple minded. We see them being shown from
little African Americangirls fanning the white girls while they nap to the men who
attack Scarlett portraying them as villains. In addition, the character Prissy is made
to seem very childlike, a liar, and stupid. We can tell by the way others treat her
that they do not take her seriously as a human. In the scene where she asks for Rhett
s help after Melanie delivers the baby, all the white women and Rhett just laugh at
her hysterical behavior. On the other hand, even though Mammy is still depicted as
the typical house slave, she seems to have more dignity and respect then all the other
African Americans in the film. Although they still make her appear uneducated, the
way she speaks and says more intellectual information makes her more credited and
seen as good in the eyes of those above
Indigenous Religions
The indigenous religions are still being practiced all over the world. However,
because of their sacred and ancient cultural beliefs, there has been growing discord
between various cultures due to globalization and modern development in the
economy. Land belonging to the indigenous people have been confiscated (Fisher,
2014). Different projects of development are being encroached upon the indigenous
people by powerful economically and, political groups that have left them feeling
devastated (Fisher, 2014). Being forced from their land and environment that they
feel so intimate and passionate about has created a lot of discord for the indigenous
people (Fisher, 2014). The indigenous religions have suffered enormously from the

How Cyber Security Can Be Simply Defined As Protecting...
INTRODUCTION TO CYBER SECURITY
The only system which is truly secure is one which is switched off and unplugged
locked in a titanium lined safe, buried in a concrete bunker, and is surrounded by
nerve gas and very highly paid armed guards. Even then, I wouldn t stake my life on
it.

Cyber security can be simply defined as protecting your computer from unwanted
access. A simple definition, yet a very complex topic. The fundamental issue that we
face in this digital world that we live in is an infinite number of loopholes that persist
in the rules and regulations that govern the basic principles of computing. These ...

Now let s talk about the daily user such as you and me. The simplest overlook, such
as opening an unknown attachment in an email or downloading a file from a third
party website can have serious consequences. A virus in the old age may simply
delete important files or folders on your computer but now they do a lot more than
that. Lurking deep beneath the simple user interface we see, maybe threats that we
never knew existed. Collecting information such as bank account numbers, addresses

return can be used for identity theft and manipulation. This is just the beginning of
the dangerous potential of the cyber world.

Short Essay On Eudora Welty
The Talented Southern Woman
In the mid to late nineteen twenties, a southern Mississippi girl was slowly making
an impact on the literary world with her a granite core in every tale: as complete
and unassailable an image of human relations as any in our art, tragic of necessity
but also comic (Price 1). short stories. As a pioneer, she paved the way for future
writers and young women to accomplish goals and awards that have never been
done before. This young woman was born in small town Jackson, Mississippi and
grew up to go on the adventure of a lifetime to three different colleges and explore
various avenues to pursue her dream against her father s advice and wishes. Eudora
Welty is a fictional short story author who has had many worldly experiences,
brought inspiration to her audiences, and provided a platform to share her
knowledge through her writing. Eudora Welty was born on April thirteenth of
1909 in Jackson, Mississippi ( Eudora Welty Biography 1). She grew up in that
quaint small town where she went to elementary school at Davis Elementary. Her
father was Christian Webb Welty, who was raised in rural Ohio and became a
country school teacher in West Virginia ( Eudora Welty Biography 1). Christian then
went on to marry a fellow school teacher, Chestina Andrews, and she was soon to be
the mother of Eudora. After they married, the two moved to Jackson, Mississippi to
start their family. Eudora is the oldest of three, her two brothers being Edward

Analysis Of The Film The Wild County
The Wild County is a modern Spaghetti Western film set to be released on March
2018. I will be the director of the film, and will mainly take care of the visual aspect
of the film. The film s visual element takes inspiration from one of Sergio Leone s
prominent film Once Upon a Time in the West (1968). The first scene I will direct in
the film is Scene IV. The spotting for the film will occur on November 24th, 2016.
The first spotting session will mainly focus on arranging the musicwith the footage
taken for Scene IV. The meeting will be attended by the film composer Richard
Marley along with our three music editors Cindy Nicholson, Brandon Howard, and
Susan Baxter.
The plot of the film is about Bruce West, a young cowboy who travels to Cape
Town, Lousiana in order to seek redemption for the death of his family back in
Mississippi. Bruce West s family are murdered by the evil Samuel Johnson and his
crew called the Red Bandits. The Red Bandits plan to infiltrate Cape Town by
robbing the town of it s fortune and kidnapping mayor Smith as hostage. In order to
stop the Red Bandits, Bruce West creates a group called The Rebellion to fight
against the Red Bandits and save Cape Town from chaos.
Scene IV will have no source music, meaning no music will be heard by both the
audience and the characters. Moreover, there will be no dialogue between characters
as this is a silent film. The only sound in the scene will be the non diegetic music
created by the film composer Richard
Persuasive Speech On Adopting Animals
A dog isn t just simply a dog. A dog is a best friend, a companion, a detective, a
guide, a gift, and much more. So why would people mistreat their dogs? People
still don t know the answer to this question. Commercials have been trying to shine
some light on the public about the issue at hand. The issue includes people
adopting animals and not being able to care for them. If we take it one step
forward, we are also worried about people abusing an animal. A couple
commercials in my mind have done an outstanding job in spreading the message of
knowing if you are responsible enough to adopt an animal. A commercial that caught
my eye is called Gift . Gift starts off with a man driving a very nice car up to a house.
The man seems to be well dressed. The music in the background is very happy and
you can tell the man is happy as well. I can infer that it is cold outside by the way the
people are dressed and how there are no leaves on the trees and it is gloomy. He then
gets out of the car and picks up a little girl. The little girl has red hair and is carrying
a stuffed toy dog. The man hugs the little girl and puts her in the car with him. The
man shares some food with the little girl, which suggests that they like each other and
get along.
In the next scene, there is a woman with a different little girl that is blonde. The two
are drawing and enjoying themselves. I can infer that the older lady is the mother of
the younger one due to the older lady giving the younger one a
The Reality Of Television Entertainment
Reality T.V. is defined as a genre of television entertainment that portrays real life
situations that serves to entertain rather than inform. One of the first reality T.V.
shows to air was the Dutch, series Nummer 28, in which 7 students were put
together in one house and their everyday interactions between each other were
documented. A few years later, shows such as Survivor and Big Brother swept the
nation and the radical new idea of Reality T.V. became the next big thing. During its
infancy, Reality T.V. served only 2 purposes; to entertain and make money. As the
years went by and popularity for the genre grew, televisionstations saw the
opportunity to make an exponentially larger amount of money. In order to do this,
they had to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Despite all of the publicity that the controversy sparked, the viewership didn t
reach their expectations. However, at the end of the first episode they showed a
preview of the next upcoming episode in which one member of the cast was
punched in the face while drinking at one of the bar s. This caused even more
controversy, which in turn, increased the viewership of the next episode by almost
50%. This comes to show that people become exponentially more engaged in a
show when there is more fighting and just drama in general. This then poses the
question of whether or not we as a society actually approve of this behavior and
maybe even consider it an everyday reality.
America s Next Top Model (ANTM) also falls under the category of extremely
controversial shows that yet still seem to be equally as popular. The show follows
the same general format of the hit series American Idol and Americas got talent.
Many women who seek to become models compete on this show in order to claim
the title of Americas Next Top Model and jumpstart their careers in the modeling
industry. The contestants live together under the same roof similar to shows like
Jersey Shore and The Real World. The house has almost no doors so that cameras can
capture almost every moment of the lives of the contestants. Each episode, the
contestants would go through a photo shoot, and some sort of challenge. At the end
of the week the models would be
The Controversy Of Brutus In Julius Caesar
In the play Julius Caesar, the author Shakespeare depicts a persistent controversy
between Caesar and his conspirators that turned against Caesar. Brutus remained a
great friendship with Caesar for a very long time until he became a disguised rival
that was joined by many other conspirators which involved Cassius. Through many
struggles and schemes, they achieved their goal to bring Caesar down and
assassinated him when the chance was given. E Tu Brute? were the last words of
Caesar that left a mark even in today s history because Brutus turning against Caesar
depicts that not everyone can be fully trusted for what they portray to be. But, this
play highlights also the importance of real friends such as Antony that tried to bring

He uses the technique of ethos for the citizens to be convinced that what Brutus
had done was for the good of the citizens. In the speech, Brutus quotes Believe me
for mine honor, and have respect to mine honor that you may believe(III.II. 15 16)
, he uses his credibility to provide evidence to the crowd. He plays a significant role
in the Senate, which he is honored. Using this advantage, he persuades people to
believe him that what he does is for their own good and that he would not lie as he
is known to be an honored man. Using ethos, people fell into the trap of believing
Brutus and his reasoning very quickly. However, Antony uses ethos to get the
audience s support and it was a very dangerous moment for Antony as he had to
indirectly attack Brutus. Antony uses ethos by supporting Brutus so that the citizens
will believe Antony and his credibility will be able to bring the audience to
understand that what Brutus had done was just part of the conspiracy. In the quote
Which all the while ran blood, great Caesar fell. O, what a fall was there, my
countrymen!(III.II. 201 202) , Antony uses the name of Julius Caesar as a way to bring
together the people of Rome. He uses the authority of Caesar to raise his values and
commemorate him and his great leadership he owned. The word fall used in this
quote has two meaning; the first being that he fell as he was assassinated and the
second meaning used in this quote by Antony is the falling of Caesar into the scheme
of conspiracy and through this, Antony strikes an enraged emotion from the
aphasia Essay
Aphasia is a language disorder that results from damage to portions of the brain
that are responsible for language. For most people, these are parts of the left side
(hemisphere) of the brain. Aphasia usually occurs suddenly, often as the result of
a stroke or head injury, but it may also develop slowly, as in the case of a brain
tumor. The disorder impairs the expression and understanding of language as well
as reading and writing. Aphasia may co occur with speech disorders such as
dysarthria or apraxia of speech, which also result from brain damage . (Sarno 23)
Anyone can acquire aphasia, but most people who have aphasia are in their middle
to late years. Men and women are equally affected. It is estimated that approximately

Individuals with Wernicke s aphasia may speak in long sentences that have no
meaning, add unnecessary words, and even create new quot;words. quot; For
example, someone with Wernicke s aphasia may say, quot; You know that smoodle
pinkered and that I want to get him round and take care of him like you want
before, quot; meaning quot; The dog needs to go out so I will take him for a walk.
quot; (Eiesenson 45) Individuals with Wernicke s aphasia usually have great
difficulty understanding speech and are therefore often unaware of their mistakes .
(Eiesenson 53) These individuals usually have no body weakness because their
brain injury is not near the parts of the brain that control movement . (Eiesenson 74)
A third type of aphasia, global aphasia, results from damage to extensive portions of
the language areas of the brain. Individuals with global aphasia have severe
communication difficulties and may be extremely limited in their ability to speak or
comprehend language . () Aphasia is usually first recognized by the physician who
treats the individual for his or her brain injury. Frequently this is a neurologist. The
physician typically performs tests that require the individual to follow commands,
answer questions, name objects, and converse. If the physician suspects aphasia, the
individual is often referred to a speech language pathologist, who performs a
comprehensive examination of the person s ability to understand, speak, read, and
Persuasive Essay On Prescription Opioids
According to the National Institutes of Health, prescription opioids are chemically
made to have a similar result as endorphins, which is the body s natural pain
reliever (NIDA, 2017). Prescription opioids must be prescribed by a physician and
are often prescribed to treat severe pain such as post surgical recovery, chronic pain,
cancer, or serious injuries. Prescription opioids should be used by the patient the
physician prescribed them to and used as directed due to the potential risk of abuse
and dependency. However, prescription opioids are being misused and causing an
opioid crisis in the United Statesof America.
Background
A national crisis is occurring due to the misuse of opioids including prescription
pain relievers, heroin and synthetic opioids. According to the National Institute on
Drug Abuse, every day more than 90 Americans die from overdosing on opioids
(NIH, 2017). The United States opioid crisis goes as far back as the late 1990s
when physicians were educated by the pharmaceutical companies that patients
would not become addicted to opioids and started to prescribe the more often. The
incorrect information given by the pharmaceutical companies lead to widespread
diversion and misuse of the medications which has now lead to a public health
crisis. Due to the increase misuse of opioids in the last 15 years, there has been an
increase in the number of emergency room visits, increase in the number of deaths
related to overdose, and increase in the

Octopuses Research Paper
Octopuses are better at camouflage than any other animals. They can change their
shape and color to look like other creatures.
The best of these morphing creatures is the mimic octopus. It adopts the colors of a
poisonous sea snake and changes its body into a thin ribbon to scare predators away.
People have seen mimic octopuses look like lion fish, sea stars and other animals.
When hungry, the octopus takes the form of a crab. Crabs fooled by the display end

Scientists and engineers are impressed by the octopuses. A team of Cornell
University scientists copied the mimic using sheets of rubber and mesh. The
scientists got help from octopus expert Roger Hanlon.

The papillae are what help an octopus use camouflage. The papillae go limp when
an octopus wants to decrease the drag of water against skin, allowing it to speed
away. Then fleshy nubs can appear, and the skin bulges. Octopuses can match the
look of seaweed so closely that they become almost invisible.
Itai Cohen, a writer of the new study, said he was amazed by videos of the shape
changers. Such a scene was filmed by Hanlon and posted online.
People can stare at an underwater scene and have no idea an octopus is there, Cohen
said. Then it changes color and shape. It appears out of nowhere, he said.
Cohen was impressed. That is just awesome, he thought. How the heck do we do that?
He and fellow Cornell scientist Robert Shepherd gave James Pikul the work of
figuring it out. Pikul was studying to be a professor at the time. Today he is a
professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Scientists and engineers have been trying
to control the shape of soft, stretchable materials, said Pikul. However, cheaply
making these materials has been difficult.

Artistic Authenticity And Its Impact On The Middle Of...
Artistic authenticity is a pattern starting with mid nineteenth century French
Literature. It stretched out to late nineteenth and early twentieth century creators. It is
the delineation of contemporary life and the general public as it seems to be. Realist
creators selected delineation of ordinary and hackneyed exercises and encounters,
rather than a romanticized or comparatively adapted presentation. In authenticity the
character is a result of social components and environment is the vital component in
the emotional entanglements. It looks for a balanced relationship in the middle of
representation and the subject. This structure is otherwise called mimesis. Realists
are concerned with the impact of their work on the peruser and the peruser s life, a
down to earth view. Sober mindedness obliges the perusing of the workto have some
irrefutable result for the perusers that will prompt have a finer life for the peruser.
Authenticity plans to decipher the facts of any part of life, free from subjective
partiality, optimism, or sentimental shade. It is contrary to concerns of the abnormal,
the premise of Romanticism. Stresses the genuine over the awesome. Tries to treat
the typical truthfully and utilized characters from regular life. This accentuation was
brought on by societal changes, for example, the repercussions of the Civil War in
the United States and the rise of Darwin s Theory of Evolution and its impact upon
bible based understanding. Authenticity emerged as a
Perform Ten Resistance Training Exercise
3. Perform ten resistance training exercises and describe which phase of the exercise

the muscle the strongest? Why?
When performing the bench press, lowering the bar to your chest (down phase) this
movement is considered an eccentric contraction. When lifting the bar off your chest
(up phase) this movement is considered a concentric contraction. If we modify the
exercise and we bring the weight down to the chest and hold this position, this fixed
position of the bar is considered an isometric contraction. During the up phase, the
pectoralis major is at its strongest because the muscle is contracted at its full potential,

Analysis Of Waste By Wendell Berry
Waste is a short essay in which Wendell Berry critically analyzes the growing
epidemic of trash that is polluting the nation s land, waterways, and the air. Berry
explains to the readers how the remnants of floods and litter that leave farmlands
scattered with trash, makes more work for the farmers who have to rid their land
of the trash before they can use it. Along with the floods, roads and highways also
lead to a barrage of garbage from people who are too lazy or ignorant to take proper
care of their garbage, which Berry claims leads to . . . a constant precipitation of
cans, bottles, the plastic ware containers of fast food joints, soiled plastic diapers,
and sometimes whole bags of garbage, (Waste1) along the edges of their fields. The
garbage of the country continues to be a burden for everyone, whether it impacts
them directly or not. Although it would be impossible to eliminate garbage
completely from the country, the waste could be greatly reduced. Most of today s
trash is a consequence of the laziness of American society.
Berry describes Americans as human trash and unwilling victims because
Americans as a whole cannot provide for themselves. I d like to disagree, but no
matter how self sufficient we are, Americans survive on plastic containers. We as
Americans will always need to purchase food that the producers wrap in these toxic
plastic containers or wrappers that many people can t even be bothered to dispose of
properly. The least we could do is to

The Case Morse Vs. Frederick
In the case Morse Vs. Frederick, a supreme court case that questioned the first
amendment, the main argument set out by Frederick was that the school s
principal, Morse, was that Morse violated Fredericks first amendment right. Juneau
Douglas High School was in session during the Olympic Torch Relay for the 2002
winter Olympics. The school decided that it would let its students and faculty out
for a short period to watch as the torchbearers passed the school. This was
considered a school event and was treated as a field trip. Joseph Frederick was a
senior at JDHS. He was a bit late coming to school that day. When Frederick arrived
to school during the event, he met up with some of his friends. They soon pulled
out fourteen foot banner that had the phrase: BONG HiTS 4 JESUS . The school s
principal, Deborah Morse, almost immediately told the students to take down the
banner. All but one student complied with Morse. That student was Joseph
Frederick. She told the boys to take the sign down because she believed that the sign
was encouraging the use of illegal drugs in school. She told Frederick to report to her
office where she later punished him by suspending him for ten days. Frederick
believed that his constitutional rights were being denied and that the first amendment
was violated in the process. Frederick sued Morse claiming that the school violated
his first amendment. Morse explained that she was not violating the first amendment
because the school has a school

The Influential Example Of Costa Rica
Nation Branding: The Influential example of Costa Rica (Essential Costa Rica)
Nation Branding is a tool that helps to measure, build and manage the reputation of a
country. Essential Costa Rica is the country s brand; it tries to sell and promote Costa
Rica as a high tech industry and innovative country, it showcases the nationВґs
advanced export capacity as well as its leadership in protecting natural resources and
promoting sustainable development. Essential Costa Rica aims to promote the
country as a destination for investment and tourism by highlighting the nation s main
characteristics, which sets it apart from its neighboring countries.
During the past years nation branding has gained popularity in many countries of the
world. Essential Costa Rica has bolstered the country s general image through
promoting societal sectors such as tourism, exports, and commitment to sustainability.
This country brand will provide increased competitiveness in relation to other
countries, therefore improving the socio economic status of Costa Rica as a country,
and of its population as a whole.
As professional brander, Fetscherin mentions: The purpose of nation branding is to
promote the country s brand which includes a country s whole image, covering
political, economic, social, environmental, historical, and cultural aspects, by creating
a positive image of the country (Fetscherin 468). Costa Rica is considered to be one
of the most innovative countries in Latin America, the

leader in integrated healthcare. In 2003, after several attempts to implement an
information system (IS), Kaiser elected to hire a company to build an integrated set
of systems for the organization. Epic Systems Corporation agreed to architect a fully
functioning system in three years and estimated this project to cost around $1.8
billion. Seven years later, the Electronic Health Record (EHR) application was

Since 2004, these rapid regulatory changes have presented major challenges to office
practices and hospitals as they try to adapt to the new requirements while also
remaining operationally and financially sound (Patel, 2015).
Perhaps the pressure placed on the healthcare industry pushed Kaiser to not think
fully through this implementation. Pressure or not, the fact of the matter is, the
organization needed to adhere to a systems development life cycle all while remaining
cognizant of the strategic plan put in place for IS.
Investigation, Analysis, and Design
When considering an IS implementation, an investigation of the system s current
state is needed. This is stage one. The goal here is to address any problems and/or
opportunities that are creating a need for a new system to be implemented. After the
investigation concludes, organizations need to consider the time and resources it will
take to address the issues at hand and ultimately decide if they will be moving
forward in the system development life cycle.
The next step in the process is system analysis. This second stage involves gathering
requirements, such as documenting the strengths and weaknesses of the current
system, having discussions with the users to understand their roles and needs. This is
an integral part of the life cycle as employees are the most important asset a company
has. Baya, Gruman, Mathaisel state, information technology

Number Fifteen: Circus Animal Abuse Comes in Many Forms
Animal trainers use lots of tools in order to train their animals, and really none of
them are kosher. They use muzzles, electric prods, bullhooks, whips and more, which
are quite violent at times.
Number Fourteen: Tigers Fear of Fire
Many times, a circus trick will involve a tiger going through a ring of fire. These
animals are especially fearful of this, but they are still forced to do so. They

give insights about smartphone market and where Gionee Communication
Equipment Co. Ltd., stand as a smartphone manufacturer. Furthermore, this paper will
also try to give insights on the competitive analysis of the mentioned company with
overall analysis of the Nepali smartphone industry. The industry analysis as mentioned
is tried to be presented with the help of Porter s Five forces model. Competitive
Analysis of Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd. With the introduction of
first mobile phone by Motorola in the early 1970 s, a milestone in the smartphone
industry was created. According to Bird (2014), with the launch of smartphones,
mobile phones are in fourth generation era, with their transformation into portable
computers. In the context of Nepal, there is a dramatic increase in the use of
smartphones and they have become a basic need rather than a luxury commodity. For
the purpose of competitive analysis and industry analysis, I have taken into account
Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd., which was founded in 2002. After a
decade of its operation in China, it gradually expanded its business to other Asian
countries. According to the company itself, Gionee is taken as one of the top 10

Survival Research Paper
Survival Essay Did you know that there are only three main things you need for
survival, they are as follows: Shelter, fire, and water. Which those three things you
could live in a desert island. In this essay I will explain how you will use, make and
find those three necessite to have a successful survival. First thing you need is
shelter, shelter is a main item required for survival. Depending on your location
there are going to be all sorts of obstacles to building a shelter the first thing you
need to do is find a location to build your shelter. I would look for somewhere
where there may be some water close by but not right by your site due to the fact
there might be animals if there are any that come to get a drink. The second thing
you want to do is build, now that might sound easy but depending on your location
like if you are in Minnesota and there are a ton of trees surrounding you. You can

In the real scheme of things there are three things to make fire you need heat, air,
and fuel. Without those thing there is no fire. Let s talk about heat, that is what is
going to be your igniting source. And then you have air which is going to allow
oxygen so even though you have an igniting source you still need that oxygen to
keep it burning and last you have the fuel which is going to keep the fire going and
the most common fuel wood be wood. There are all sorts of types of fires you can
have for example you can have a Gas fire, Electrical, Wood fire and all these things
are going to be able to help you start a fire out in the wild. The last thing I want to
mention on fire is you are going to need it for your warmth a lot of real survival
situations take place in the cold and without that fire your body temperature would
drop and you would basically freeze to

The Perspective of Plato and Aristotle on the Value of Art
As literary critics, Plato and Aristotle disagree profoundly about the value of art in
human society. Plato attempts to strip artists of the power and prominence they enjoy
in his society, while Aristotle tries to develop a method of inquiry to determine the
merits of an individual work of art. It is interesting to note that these two disparate
notions of art are based upon the same fundamental assumption: that art is a form of
mimesis, imitation. Both philosophers are concerned with the artist s ability to have
significant impact on others. It is the imitative function of art which promotes disdain
in Plato and curiosity in Aristotle. Examining the reality that art ... Show more content

Art is removed from any notion of real truth, an inherently flawed copy of an already
imperfect world. Art as an imitation is irrelevant to what is real.
Aristotle approaches reality from a completely different premise. While his ideas
do stand in sharp contrast to Plato s, they are not simply a refutation of his former
mentor s views. To Aristotle, the world exists in an infinitely diverse series of parts.
These various parts are open to human observation and scrutiny. Rather than an
eternally regressing truth beyond the scope of human apprehension, knowledge of
truth and good are rooted firmly in the observable universe; truth, or at least
gestures toward it, lies in existence rather than essence. Aristotle encourages
embracing the particular in order to possibly gain a sense of the universal. There is,
however, no universal system of inquiry to investigate each part of the whole.
Different parts require different methods of discourse. In The Poetics, Aristotle
attempts to articulate a method of inquiry, not a rigid system or standard of
evaluation, applicable to tragedy. Tragedy attempts to imitate the complex world of
human actions, and yet tragedy is itself still part of a larger, more complicated world
of human existence. Tragedy is a
Gender Differences In Ethnographic Study
There is a belief that woman remember places such as landmarks/pictures while
men use maps without the need for pictures and this is still believed in today s
society. A newspaper article by Revill J. (1999), mentioned that women lack the
spatial skill needed to read a map. There have been many studies related to this topic,
such the kind of strategy each genderuse to remember maps, is it the nature that men
possess the skills needed to read maps or is each gender nurtured to have such
difference? And if visual spatial memory is related to remembering maps. This study
can help us understand if gender plays a role in map reading and uncover the myth
on whether women really can t read maps. My topic will confirm that women can

From the three articles above we know that visual spatial memory is needed for
reading maps and gender differences plays a role in spatial skill. Having experience
in traveling does not make a person a better map reader. The hypotheses I would
like to test is map reading is unrelated to gender but each person s interest. To test
my hypotheses, I will be using a between subject design. Recruitments will be first
year UIC undergrads that are still not familiar with the UIC buildings, 20 males
and 20 females are needed. The location will be the UIC BSB building because of
its complex structure. Participants will be split in two group; each group will have
10 males and 10 females participants in even dispute of gender in each group. One
group will receive a picture/landmark only map of BSB and audio instructions on
where they need to go. The other group will have a text/spatial only map of BSB
and audio instructions on where they need to go. The only tasks the students need to
do is to travel from Harrison Street door of the BSB building to the 2nd floor BSB
Psychology Computer Lab as fast as they can. The procedure will start with each
participant picking a suitable time and date they are free. The participants will meet a
person in the Harrison Street door of BSB that will hand them their picture or text
map with audio directions. After giving the material to the participant, they will have
3 minutes to study the map, without audio. The person with the participant will signal
and record the starting time the participant and when the participants reach the
destination, another person will be in the room recording the time the participant
arrived. Gender, time, and which kind of map they used will be recorded and
compared. My prediction is that both gender and type of map will not differ from the

Ambition And Responsibility Of Tree-Ear In A Single Shard
At the beginning of A Single Shard, Tree ear was a young orphan raised by a wise
elder named Crane man. The foundling had an immense ambition; he was entirely
passionate about pottery for practically all of his life. During the beginning chapters,
the novel reveals Tree ear struggled with judgement and responsibility.
As stated in Chapter one, Tree ear struggled to decide whether to alert the farmer
about his frayed rice sack or keep the descended rice to himself. Additionally, he
chose to tell the farmer about the fallen rice, indicating his selflessness. Tree ear also
had a sense of curiosity towards the beginning of the novel. In Chapter five, Tree ear
began to spy on Kang, a highly experienced potter, at the kiln. Interested in his work,
Tree ear watched Kang at the kiln day after day. Moreover, his inquisitiveness
eventually caught up to him. Like indicated ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Tree ear had educated himself to mold clay into shapes on his own. Working for
Min granted Tree ear the capability to gain more responsibility as well. In Chapter
Ten, Tree ear decided to travel to Songdo to transport Min s pottery to the royal
emissary. Since he had to learn to endure the scarce days in Songdo on his own, he
effectively gained enhancement in his survival skills. In Chapter Eleven, robbers
deprived Tree ear of Min s vases and dropped them off of the Rock of Falling
Flowers. Because he had faith that one of the vases was not completely damaged,
Tree ear traveled to the river to search for remnants of the plummeted vase.
Furthermore, he only found fragments of the vases in the sand. Courageously, he
selected one single shard, the size of his palm, and voyaged to the royal emissary.
Tree ear s traits developed into intelligence, maturity and
True Friend
Friendship is a very special relationship between two people or more. That s why you
need some time a power to understand them . I agree that friendship require time and
energy .I think that friendship contains love, faith and honesty, and for that you need
to spend time to know that other side very quit, so friendshiprequire time and energy
for two reason. First reason is that some friends are friend for life second is that
people cannot live alone.
The first reason why friendship worth time and energy is that some friends are

Without our friendships, we are indeed lost. Whatever happens, we should always
keep our true friends close to our heart. Tell them how much they mean to you. Do
not let them slip away. If they do, go out and get them back. The bonds we make
during these days will serve to keep us going in the months and years ahead.
Life is so short that we need someone to share our thoughts and feelings. Definitely,
a thought would arise in our mind asking who it could be whom we can trust so
closely. Answer might be who someone closes to you, but who? Parents, brother,
sister.....! Apparently, it hardly comes to anyone s mind a true friend . You are no
nearer to true friendship than if you choose them for commercial reason. Besides
who are you that you should be setting a price upon your friendship? It is enough
for any man that he has the divine power of making friends, and he must leave it to
that power of making friends. In this essay I will try to give my points of view

Friends are essential in our life just as food is essential for living. Moreover, it is
essential to determine their friendship as we analyze the contents of the food before

The Complex Nature Of The Nursing Profession
In my relatively short tenure as a nurse I have come to understand and firmly believe
that the nursing profession is widely misinterpreted and sometimes viewed by the
public as a systematic, task driven, emotionally simplistic and withdrawn profession.
When in reality the nursing profession s complex nature requires those involved to
stay current, active and embracing a dynamic approach to their interactions. A
dynamic nature is required in order to be successful in nursing, as adaptive change,
high energy and a well rounded mindset are qualities that equate to effective care. The
complex nature of interactions and health care as an encompassing system can prove
to be challenging but yield effective adaptive results. As Kleffel states that nurses
need an ecocentric view to successfully identify the multitude of interrelationships
affecting effective care (as cited in Doane Varcoe, 2004, p. 50). That is that a nurse
must approach a situation or interaction from a dynamic and comprehensive
perspective.
The many interrelationships that affect the seemingly simple interactions between
nurse, patient and families are everything but simple, in fact, they are an intricate web
of heterogeneous relational factors with a purpose of contributing and developing the
current state of being. The theoretical framework of Complexity Science paired with
Complex Adaptive System (CAS) is effective in explaining human interactions and its
key role in effective health care (Lindberg, Nash,

Now a days, the measurement of power quality components and electrical protection
are becoming more complex and costly also. As the rate of different equipments used
in modern building and industries are getting costlier. So very efficient and low cost
electrical panel system is required which can give continuous monitoring and
measurement of power and also it can protect the whole electrical system. As
LabVIEW being worlds number one virtual programming software, this type of
electrical panel can be designed which will not only show different parameters but
will also protect the electrical system. The main components which are essential to

Another type is Rheumatoid arthritis. It is what s known as an inflammatory arthritis.
It is the second most common form of arthritis, right behind osteoarthritis. It affects
primarily the small joints in the hands and feet, causing crippling deformities. This is
an arthritis that usually starts in middle life or earlier. Estimates say one out of every
hundred people, (females are two to three times as likely) suffer from it. It usually
starts in the winter and after a common sickness, but it isn t considered an infective
arthritis. Nobody knows what causes rheumatoid arthritis. It could be some hereditary
trait. Scientists think that rheumatoid arthritis may be an autoimmune disease (that
means the body acts as though it were allergic to itself). The immune system gets
mixed up and attacks normal joint tissue instead of the infection it is supposed to
attack.
Polyarteritis Nodosa is also an inflammatory arthritis. It can even be life
threatening. However, it is a rarer form of arthritis. It affects four times as many
males as females, and of those, mostly young adults. Some symptoms are joint and
muscle pain, ulcers, sores on the legs, and gangrene on your fingers and toes
(because of cut off blood supply to those parts). The organs of the body are almost
always all involved. Symptoms like sudden blindness, hemiplegia, and heart disease

The Causes Of The Boer War
Boer War: The Boer war began in 1899 and ended in 1902. It took place in South
Africa and was initially a conflict between the British army and the Dutch settlers
however, the Canadian government also agreed to send some of their troops to help
support the British (the English Canadians were eager to join the French Canadians
were not.).
This event was significant for Canada because, it was the first time they had fought in
a big battle that counted, even if it was under the control of Britain, it was also the
first time they participated in a war overseas, and it put Canada in the worlds
spotlight because it brought attention to them.
Alaskan Boundary Dispute: The Alaskan boundary dispute commenced in 1898
because of the Yukon gold rush the borders needed to be more clear between Yukon
and Alaska. The negotiations began in 1899 with the Americans wishing to extend
into Canadian territory. A tribunal was set up in 1903 with one American
representative and one Canadian representative.
The British sided with the Americans to give them the more popular vote and this
decision was one of the first times when Canadians realized that they wouldn t
always be able to rely on or trust the British and because of this it also made future
prime ministers draw further and further away from the British government.
Vimy Ridge: Vimy Ridge is a Ridge in France that had been controlled by the
Germans for a few years during WW1. Both America and France attempted to take
the ridge however,
Toy Story 3 Review
It s been eleven years since we last saw the gang in Toy Story 2 and things are a bit
different now. Weezy and Bo Peep, as well as others, are gone. They have fallen
victim to damage, yard sales, garbage bags, donations, and simply being misplaced.
There is a melancholy feeling in the air between Woody and the rest of the gang as
the film opens. Andy is now 17 years old and is preparing to depart to college. Each
toy is well aware as they watch him pack, that their futures will come down to
either living in the attic, become donated, or thrown away. As Andy looks over all
of his old toys, he decides to put them in a garbage bag and keep them in the attic.

This, along with some of the characters, i.e. the scary looking baby doll, causes a
somewhat dark and melancholy mood that lingers throughout the film, giving it a
kind of film noir feeling. Like in the last two movies, a major story line of Toy
Story 3 is the toys getting lost. But instead of trying to do all that they can in order
to make it home as they did in 1 and 2, Toy Story 3 focuses on whether or not they
should try and go home, being that there will be no one to go back to. Throughout
the film, Woody is the only one who insist that going home is the only option they
have because they are Andy s toys. The film is about the consequences of
disloyalty, and giving up on an imperfect relationship in order to go off and find
something that is better. It is the story of a group of toys trying to live up to their
responsibilities and deal with change. The toys have to deal with the fact that Andy is
going to college without them, leaving them without an owner, and to a toy, not
having an owner is the worst thing that can happen to you. Toy Story 3 uses all of the
same ingredients that were used on the previous two films, insuring its success. It has
action, comedy, and drama. And the last fifteen minutes of the film add a little throat
tightening pathos, a pinch of eye misting nostalgia. It is the perfect ending to an
amazing trilogy. It is filled with heart warming messages

8.0.1 What can we do with the transcriptome
Chapter 1 began by addressing the research problem and describing the whiteflies
that have been studied so far and why the genome of this species is needed.
Although, four transcriptomes of different whitefly species have already been
published and the data are available to public. These four transcriptomes were

The main aim of the Chapter 2 was to obtain a comprehensive transcriptome data set
for Asia I species which could effectively used for further analysis in this thesis.
In order to capture the complete transcriptome of Asia I species, two different
libraries (Normalized and Unnormalized) were generated and sequenced. These
combined data sets from two libraries not only led to complete transcriptome resource
but also to identifying the abundance and least

Does The Internet Foster Isola Essay example
One of the most talked, known and controversial issues today is the Internet. Internet
is a large network made up of a number of smaller networks. Almost every computer
in an educational facility and in home and small office use is connected to some type
of a network. People spent a lot of time on the Internet, which may make them seem
isolated. However, the Internet does not fosterisolation, because it may be used for
many different things like communication, education, problem solving and etc.
The concept for the Internet was to make a link in to a new world, a world that has
many different opportunities within its self. To gives the people options to go to

The Internet provides just that. This may seem like isolation because no physical
contact is present, and some or all of the things that are said might not be true. This is
a misconception. People that are talking face to face with one another might be lying
or might not be; the same is said for the Internet conversations. People whose physical
handicaps make it difficult to form new friendships find that virtual communities treat
them as they always wanted to be treated (Rheingold 206). Equality and
understanding is the key, and the virtual community provides that and much more.
Advice is also one of the keys for equality and understanding. As we all know
advice in today s world is not free, and most of the time you need to make an
appointment to get that expansive help. The internet provides advice that is free and
at the same time on the spot. In Urbana, Illinois, the Federal Department of
Education has set up a network for parents, teachers, community workers, and etc.

/etc. does not permit it, you are not allowed to. This is the case in Sterling, but it
may soon change. The second concept I witnessed when attending these meeting
was voter, or public, participation. As I stated before, not many people attended the
first meeting. Maybe two rows of chair were filled total. If more people were
involved with their local governments, more actions could be completed and things
could be done quicker. I am going to encourage more people I know to attend these
meetings, not only for the publics sake but also for their own knowledge and
awareness. Finally, I witnessed many tax and other budget issues being handled and
contemplated at the meetings. For example, the City Manager Saling talked about
the sales tax is still on a steady incline that is likely to continue. He encouraged the
public to be aware and watch this so they can adjust their personal budgets. In
addition, the budget issue appeared again with the marijuana bill. The Council
Why Is Photoshopping Is Okay
Why photoshopping is okay Did you know that only 60 percent of the time people
can spot a photoshop? So really it doesn t matter to photoshop. I say that it is ok to
photoshop in virtue of these 3 reasons: it improves your self esteem, how is
photoshop different than makeup. And lastly, photoshopping has been around since
George Washington. Here are my top three reasons on why photoshopping is okay.
Improves self esteem: My first reason on why photoshopping is okay is because
photoshopping is fun and it improves your self esteem. Many people say that
photoshopping decreases your self esteem and I guess that is an acceptable point, but
photoshopping can actually raise your self esteem more than deflate it. Many people

If I Could Ask Raina 3 Questions
If I could ask Raina three questions my questions would be. Why didn t you and your
sister get along at first? Why was your Amara always mad? After the road trip to
Colorado did you and your sister still get along? If I could ask Raina three questions I
would ask her those because I still don t get how at first she didn t get along with her
sister when Raina couldn t wait to be a big sister. My first question was: Why didn t
you and your sister get along at first? I would ask Raina that because as said in the
book her sister was cute, but she s also a cranky, grouchy baby, and mostly prefers to
play by herself but Raina could ve tried playing with her or talk to her and maybe
Amara wouldn t be a grouchy girl. My second question... Show more content on

I would want to ask her that because as said in the book Amara was cute, but she s
also a cranky, grouchy baby Raina couldn t wait to be a big sister. But once Amara
is born things aren t quite how she expected them to be. She was a cute baby, but
she was also a ranky grouchy baby with a bad attitude most of the time she was
mad. The second question I would ask Raina would be: Why was Amara always
mad? Things that lead me wonder about why she was always mad was when Raina
would try to play with her but Amara would prefer playing by herself. That made
me think Amara was always mad because she didn t want anyone playing with her.
The third question that I would ask Raina is: After the road trip to Colorado did
you and your sister get along? I would ask her that because when the car stopped
and they were so bored and didn t have anything to do they started playing and were
sisters after all. But something that lead me wonder this was what if Amara
stopped Raina from getting rid of her snake because she didn t want her to get rid
of it because it meant a lot to her but Amara was just lying and said that to stop her. I
wonder why she would stop her when at first they didn t get along
Mad Max Dystopian
What a day, what a lovely day! A desolate landscape, desert all around, enter the
world of Mad Max: Fury Road. when examining the themes of the film, it isn t very
cerebral but that s the beauty of it. It s sole purpose to provide visual imagery and
implement themes to the audience through its cinematography and costume design.
Mad Max is dystopian in every sense The definition of dystopia is an imagined
place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a totalitarian or
environmentally degraded one. obviously in the world created in Mad Max the
world falls into the environmentally degraded category. The world is gone, nothing
remains of modern civilization, the currency of the land is gas, the more gas you...

While Furiosa arguably is the focal point of the film Max is still essential for the
plot to move. Re watching the film, The parallels to 1984 were very surprising.
They both a theme on the government having a strong military focus, both share a
desolate landscape but take vastly different in conveying that to the audience.
While there isn t a structuralized government within Fury Road the parallels are
very apparent. The biggest difference between the mediums is the way they present
their dystopian themes. Since Fury Road is an action film much of it is conveyed
through the action sequences. Immortan Joe s car for example is a massive piece
of machinery, showing that he leader of the convoy. 1984 is very quiet in its
approach, going into Winston s head and learning the reasons for the government
#39;s oppression. Fury Road thrusts you into this world while 1984 eases you into
it. While unorthodox and manic Mad Max: Fury Road exemplifies dystopian
through its visual storytelling and desolate landscape. To the naked eye, Fury Road
is another explosion heavy, adrenaline fueled action film; but it is a lot more than
that. Examining the film shows how great it really is, and makes it an even more
enjoyable

Macbeth Essay Questions. Macbeth: Seven GCSE Style Extract Essay Questions Teaching Resources

  • 1. Macbeth Essay Questions Crafting an essay on the topic of "Macbeth Essay Questions" can be a challenging yet intellectually rewarding endeavor. The play "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare is a complex work filled with intricate characters, profound themes, and layered narratives. Addressing essay questions related to Macbeth requires a deep understanding of the play's nuances, characters' motivations, and the broader socio-political context in which the events unfold. One of the difficulties lies in interpreting the psychological transformations of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Analyzing their motives, internal conflicts, and the consequences of their actions demands careful consideration of the text's subtleties. Unraveling the play's themes, such as ambition, power, and the corrupting influence of unchecked desire, adds another layer of complexity to the essay. Moreover, responding to essay questions may involve delving into the historical and cultural context of Shakespeare's time, as well as exploring various critical perspectives on the play. This depth of analysis requires extensive research and critical thinking to provide a well-rounded and insightful response. Another challenge is avoiding the trap of providing a mere summary of the plot, which can be tempting given the richness of the narrative. Instead, the essay should engage with the questions in a way that demonstrates a nuanced understanding of the characters and themes, offering original insights and interpretations. In conclusion, while composing an essay on "Macbeth Essay Questions" presents its challenges, the process can be intellectually stimulating and rewarding for those who appreciate the intricacies of literary analysis. The key lies in a thorough understanding of the play, critical thinking, and the ability to express ideas coherently. For those seeking assistance, various resources and services, such as HelpWriting.net, offer support in navigating the complexities of literary analysis and essay writing. • 2. Confederate Women In The Film Gone With The Wind In the film Gone With the Wind directed by Victor Fleming, we get a glimpse of what life was like during the American Civil War and Reconstruction period from the perspective of a confederate woman. Fleming uses techniques like foreshadowing, symbolism, and imagery to create depth and enhance the themes within. Throughout the film, the emphasis on race, gender roles, and southern culture are shown through the characters and their actions. Scarlett O Hara, the main protagonist of the film, demonstrates the transformation of southern culture during the Civil War. Before the Civil War, all women were expected to live up to the stereotype and stay pretty , eventually marry to have children, and accomplish household duties. This is portrayed in the film by the way the women always prioritize dressing up and focusing on having beaus . In addition, we see how this stereotype alters... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During this time, slavery was very prominent and an important part of history. Between the two races, we see tension in the way they are belittled. Their vocabulary is dumbed down making them seem simple minded. We see them being shown from little African Americangirls fanning the white girls while they nap to the men who attack Scarlett portraying them as villains. In addition, the character Prissy is made to seem very childlike, a liar, and stupid. We can tell by the way others treat her that they do not take her seriously as a human. In the scene where she asks for Rhett s help after Melanie delivers the baby, all the white women and Rhett just laugh at her hysterical behavior. On the other hand, even though Mammy is still depicted as the typical house slave, she seems to have more dignity and respect then all the other African Americans in the film. Although they still make her appear uneducated, the way she speaks and says more intellectual information makes her more credited and seen as good in the eyes of those above
  • 3. Indigenous Religions The indigenous religions are still being practiced all over the world. However, because of their sacred and ancient cultural beliefs, there has been growing discord between various cultures due to globalization and modern development in the economy. Land belonging to the indigenous people have been confiscated (Fisher, 2014). Different projects of development are being encroached upon the indigenous people by powerful economically and, political groups that have left them feeling devastated (Fisher, 2014). Being forced from their land and environment that they feel so intimate and passionate about has created a lot of discord for the indigenous people (Fisher, 2014). The indigenous religions have suffered enormously from the offensive attacks

INTRODUCTION TO CYBER SECURITY The only system which is truly secure is one which is switched off and unplugged locked in a titanium lined safe, buried in a concrete bunker, and is surrounded by nerve gas and very highly paid armed guards. Even then, I wouldn t stake my life on it. Gene Spafford, Director, Computer Operations, Audit, and Security Technology (COAST) Project, Purdue University Cyber security can be simply defined as protecting your computer from unwanted access. • 5. Short Essay On Eudora Welty The Talented Southern Woman In the mid to late nineteen twenties, a southern Mississippi girl was slowly making an impact on the literary world with her a granite core in every tale: as complete and unassailable an image of human relations as any in our art, tragic of necessity but also comic (Price 1). short stories. As a pioneer, she paved the way for future writers and young women to accomplish goals and awards that have never been done before. This young woman was born in small town Jackson, Mississippi and grew up to go on the adventure of a lifetime to three different colleges and explore various avenues to pursue her dream against her father s advice and wishes. Eudora Welty is a fictional short story author who has had many worldly experiences, brought inspiration to her audiences, and provided a platform to share her knowledge through her writing. • 6. Analysis Of The Film The Wild County The Wild County is a modern Spaghetti Western film set to be released on March 2018. I will be the director of the film, and will mainly take care of the visual aspect of the film. The film s visual element takes inspiration from one of Sergio Leone s prominent film Once Upon a Time in the West (1968). The first scene I will direct in the film is Scene IV. The spotting for the film will occur on November 24th, 2016. The first spotting session will mainly focus on arranging the musicwith the footage taken for Scene IV. The meeting will be attended by the film composer Richard Marley along with our three music editors Cindy Nicholson, Brandon Howard, and Susan Baxter. The plot of the film is about Bruce West, a young cowboy who travels to Cape Town, Lousiana in order to seek redemption for the death of his family back in Mississippi. Bruce West s family are murdered by the evil Samuel Johnson and his crew called the Red Bandits. The Red Bandits plan to infiltrate Cape Town by robbing the town of it s fortune and kidnapping mayor Smith as hostage. In order to stop the Red Bandits, Bruce West creates a group called The Rebellion to fight against the Red Bandits and save Cape Town from chaos. Scene IV will have no source music, meaning no music will be heard by both the audience and the characters. Moreover, there will be no dialogue between characters as this is a silent film. The only sound in the scene will be the non diegetic music created by the film composer Richard
  • 7. Persuasive Speech On Adopting Animals A dog isn t just simply a dog. A dog is a best friend, a companion, a detective, a guide, a gift, and much more. So why would people mistreat their dogs? People still don t know the answer to this question. Commercials have been trying to shine some light on the public about the issue at hand. The issue includes people adopting animals and not being able to care for them. If we take it one step forward, we are also worried about people abusing an animal. A couple commercials in my mind have done an outstanding job in spreading the message of knowing if you are responsible enough to adopt an animal. A commercial that caught my eye is called Gift . Gift starts off with a man driving a very nice car up to a house. The man seems to be well dressed. The music in the background is very happy and you can tell the man is happy as well. I can infer that it is cold outside by the way the people are dressed and how there are no leaves on the trees and it is gloomy. He then gets out of the car and picks up a little girl. The little girl has red hair and is carrying a stuffed toy dog. The man hugs the little girl and puts her in the car with him. The man shares some food with the little girl, which suggests that they like each other and get along. In the next scene, there is a woman with a different little girl that is blonde. The two are drawing and enjoying themselves. I can infer that the older lady is the mother of the younger one due to the older lady giving the younger one a

One of the first reality T.V. shows to air was the Dutch, series Nummer 28, in which 7 students were put together in one house and their everyday interactions between each other were documented. A few years later, shows such as Survivor and Big Brother swept the nation and the radical new idea of Reality T.V. became the next big thing. It stretched out to late nineteenth and early twentieth century creators. It is the delineation of contemporary life and the general public as it seems to be. Realist creators selected delineation of ordinary and hackneyed exercises and encounters, rather than a romanticized or comparatively adapted presentation. In authenticity the character is a result of social components and environment is the vital component in the emotional entanglements. It looks for a balanced relationship in the middle of representation and the subject. This structure is otherwise called mimesis. Realists are concerned with the impact of their work on the peruser and the peruser s life, a down to earth view. • 16. Analysis Of Waste By Wendell Berry Waste is a short essay in which Wendell Berry critically analyzes the growing epidemic of trash that is polluting the nation s land, waterways, and the air. Berry explains to the readers how the remnants of floods and litter that leave farmlands scattered with trash, makes more work for the farmers who have to rid their land of the trash before they can use it. Along with the floods, roads and highways also lead to a barrage of garbage from people who are too lazy or ignorant to take proper care of their garbage, which Berry claims leads to . . . a constant precipitation of cans, bottles, the plastic ware containers of fast food joints, soiled plastic diapers, and sometimes whole bags of garbage, (Waste1) along the edges of their fields. The garbage of the country continues to be a burden for everyone, whether it impacts them directly or not. Although it would be impossible to eliminate garbage completely from the country, the waste could be greatly reduced. Most of today s trash is a consequence of the laziness of American society. Berry describes Americans as human trash and unwilling victims because Americans as a whole cannot provide for themselves. I d like to disagree, but no matter how self sufficient we are, Americans survive on plastic containers. The Perspective of Plato and Aristotle on the Value of Art As literary critics, Plato and Aristotle disagree profoundly about the value of art in human society. Plato attempts to strip artists of the power and prominence they enjoy in his society, while Aristotle tries to develop a method of inquiry to determine the merits of an individual work of art. It is interesting to note that these two disparate notions of art are based upon the same fundamental assumption: that art is a form of mimesis, imitation. These various parts are open to human observation and scrutiny. Rather than an eternally regressing truth beyond the scope of human apprehension, knowledge of truth and good are rooted firmly in the observable universe; truth, or at least gestures toward it, lies in existence rather than essence. Aristotle encourages embracing the particular in order to possibly gain a sense of the universal. There is, however, no universal system of inquiry to investigate each part of the whole. Different parts require different methods of discourse. In The Poetics, Aristotle attempts to articulate a method of inquiry, not a rigid system or standard of evaluation, applicable to tragedy. Tragedy attempts to imitate the complex world of human actions, and yet tragedy is itself still part of a larger, more complicated world of human existence. Tragedy is a

The Complex Nature Of The Nursing Profession In my relatively short tenure as a nurse I have come to understand and firmly believe that the nursing profession is widely misinterpreted and sometimes viewed by the public as a systematic, task driven, emotionally simplistic and withdrawn profession. When in reality the nursing profession s complex nature requires those involved to stay current, active and embracing a dynamic approach to their interactions. A dynamic nature is required in order to be successful in nursing, as adaptive change, high energy and a well rounded mindset are qualities that equate to effective care. The complex nature of interactions and health care as an encompassing system can prove to be challenging but yield effective adaptive results. As Kleffel states that nurses need an ecocentric view to successfully identify the multitude of interrelationships affecting effective care (as cited in Doane Varcoe, 2004, p. 50). That is that a nurse must approach a situation or interaction from a dynamic and comprehensive perspective. The many interrelationships that affect the seemingly simple interactions between nurse, patient and families are everything but simple, in fact, they are an intricate web of heterogeneous relational factors with a purpose of contributing and developing the current state of being. The theoretical framework of Complexity Science paired with Complex Adaptive System (CAS) is effective in explaining human interactions and its key role in effective health care (Lindberg, Nash,

Estimates say one out of every hundred people, (females are two to three times as likely) suffer from it. It usually starts in the winter and after a common sickness, but it isn t considered an infective arthritis. Nobody knows what causes rheumatoid arthritis. It could be some hereditary trait. Scientists think that rheumatoid arthritis may be an autoimmune disease (that means the body acts as though it were allergic to itself). The immune system gets mixed up and attacks normal joint tissue instead of the infection it is supposed to attack. Polyarteritis Nodosa is also an inflammatory arthritis. It took place in South Africa and was initially a conflict between the British army and the Dutch settlers however, the Canadian government also agreed to send some of their troops to help support the British (the English Canadians were eager to join the French Canadians were not.). This event was significant for Canada because, it was the first time they had fought in a big battle that counted, even if it was under the control of Britain, it was also the first time they participated in a war overseas, and it put Canada in the worlds spotlight because it brought attention to them. Alaskan Boundary Dispute: The Alaskan boundary dispute commenced in 1898 because of the Yukon gold rush the borders needed to be more clear between Yukon and Alaska. The negotiations began in 1899 with the Americans wishing to extend into Canadian territory. A tribunal was set up in 1903 with one American representative and one Canadian representative. The British sided with the Americans to give them the more popular vote and this decision was one of the first times when Canadians realized that they wouldn t always be able to rely on or trust the British and because of this it also made future prime ministers draw further and further away from the British government. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This, along with some of the characters, i.e. the scary looking baby doll, causes a somewhat dark and melancholy mood that lingers throughout the film, giving it a kind of film noir feeling. Like in the last two movies, a major story line of Toy Story 3 is the toys getting lost. But instead of trying to do all that they can in order to make it home as they did in 1 and 2, Toy Story 3 focuses on whether or not they should try and go home, being that there will be no one to go back to. Throughout the film, Woody is the only one who insist that going home is the only option they have because they are Andy s toys. The film is about the consequences of disloyalty, and giving up on an imperfect relationship in order to go off and find something that is better. It is the story of a group of toys trying to live up to their responsibilities and deal with change. The toys have to deal with the fact that Andy is going to college without them, leaving them without an owner, and to a toy, not having an owner is the worst thing that can happen to you. Toy Story 3 uses all of the same ingredients that were used on the previous two films, insuring its success. It has action, comedy, and drama. And the last fifteen minutes of the film add a little throat tightening pathos, a pinch of eye misting nostalgia. It is the perfect ending to an amazing trilogy. It is filled with heart warming messages
