This document provides a shot-by-shot storyboard for filming a music video for a band. 1. THIS IS WHAT I PUT TOGETHER BEFORE WE FOUND OUT ABOUT THE LOCATION. My ideas lyrics analysis <br />Band are getting ready to play. Shot of the floor poster saying And The Winner Is… At (Name of Place) foot steps on it and the music starts to play. Connor walking to the building footsteps in time with music. At 4 seconds he is in the doorway back to camera in focus, band are in the distance as the drums come in the band jumps they land as the guitars come in.<br />I would have the whole band walking in, in slow motion and then close up to medium shots of all the band getting ready to play. When getting to 28 seconds it goes straight into them playing.<br /> Up to 28 seconds their are shots representing the band close ups of faces instruments, doll shots. Changing shots with tints of colour and fit with the beat of the song. <br />Time is calling and I am waiting,<br />Connor in the background singing clock in the foreground in focus OR shot of Peter playing the guitar in focus and then focus on the microphone that is in the foreground as Connor moves up to it. <br />No sense of anticipation, Its underwhelming(Its underwhelming),<br />When the other band member says “it underwhelming” could possibly have a low angle shot of them singing that.<br />Connor is singing close up, when it gets to the 38 seconds the camera changes shot suddenly so it further back to give an effect of an echo.<br />The clocks been brewing up a storm,<br />Clock on the floor pan up to show band playing. <br />For so long now I don't care what its for,<br />Close up of Connor until ‘what’ and it changes to a close up Thomas playing full body shot.<br />Long shot showing the how band until the drums were it changes shot to show Jack playing them <br />And I'm still wearing the same old shoes,<br />Shoes tap or jumping to the song, camera tilted up to show Harry and Thomas on the other side. <br />Tracing my steps, pacing the same old rooms,<br />Close up of Connor’s microphone, with him in shot.<br />And I'm still staying in all night,<br />Harry and Thomas playing full body shot to individual close ups <br />Chasing the same old ghosts i'll never find,<br />Close up of drums and then a close of Connor as his voice fades pull camera away OR pan up<br />Cause i've been behind the glass,<br />Long shot and then jumps forward to match with the beat of the song.
