immune system by attacking
the body’s tissue. It is
characterized by fever,

5. HODGKIN’S DISEASE
• Hodgkin’s disease, also known as Hodgkin’s
lymphoma, is characterized by high fever, chills,
chest pain, and sudden weight loss.
• Like other cancers, the stages range from I-IV.
Treatments include chemotherapy and radiation.
6. VACCINATIONS
• A vaccination is the
process of injecting live or
dead virus or bacteria to
help boost the body’s
immune system in
preparation for future
attacks. An example of
this is the small pox
vaccination.
