Event Title: Employee Training and Appreciation Seminar

Expected Date: February 7th-9th 2019
Event Program: Three day program, with two days for training
sessions and last day for appreciation ceremony and dinner.
Destination: Boca Raton, Florida
Why I choose this event?
I choose this event because I work for Office
Depot and currently we are being trained for new
programs but in small one day classes. So i thought it
would be a good Idea to just do one big seminar to
train as many employees as possible. The company
has never really done anything like an appreciation
ceremony or ceremony so just planning one sounded
like a good idea.

power outage is a possibility
and it is a risk that is out of

1. Reaction and
planned action
The plan for the seminar is to celebrate employees and all the
accomplishments. As well as teaching all the employees that
attend all the new programs that Office Depot will be starting to
implement in all stores.
Allow time for employees to have some free time while
at the seminar so they can enjoy themselves. As well
as allowing plenty of time for attendees to ask
questions and get clarification for any questions.
2. Learning Attendees will learn about the new programs that will be put in
place for Office Depot stores. New technology support programs
and subscription plans for customers to be a better help to
customers.
The plan is to have attendees implement the
information they have learned into there stores and the
regional manager will go into stores after to see how
they are implementing the new information they
learned
3. Application Regional managers will go in to stores to see that the information
they learned is actually being implemented.
If the programs are not being implemented a new plan
of action will be put in place for that store.
4. Business impact The business impact will be to help more customer needs with
technology, and business needs. Which will also include having
more people come into the stores helping the business needs
All new sales and subscription will be monitored to see
and increase of sales.
5. ROI This is not a for profit event so this event is only for learning and
being paid by sponsors and the host organization.
See the increase in sales at stores
6. Intangibles Employees will be able to go back to the store confident to teach
other employees what they learn and implement it.
Have a survey after so the corporate can now how
employees feel after the breakout sessions.
