National Excellence LC Award AIESEC UWA [1] In 2012, AIESEC UWA grew membership and exchange programs substantially, initiating new outreach programs and sending more members to international conferences and events. [2] Financially, AIESEC UWA was profitable and increased cash reserves while investing in member conferences and exchanges. [3] Externally, AIESEC UWA increased its presence on and off campus through faculty events, high school outreach, and corporate functions that grew alumni and business partnerships.

Team Up's mission is to improve social mobility by providing university students who participate in their Rising Leaders Programme with professional skills to tutor primary and secondary school pupils, with the goal of empowering pupils to achieve academic excellence and secure exceptional careers. As part of the programme, university students commit to tutoring pupils once a week in small group sessions, which has been shown to improve pupils' attainment by 1 1/2 times the expected progress. Team Up also offers an accredited Certificate in Leading Community Development for committee members who organize recruitment events and raise awareness and funds for Team Up, with the goal of expanding to more universities, students, schools and pupils over the next few years.

During her tenure at The Cleveland Clinic, Lori was a part of a massive effort to move their organization towards a culture of patients first. Using Wisr and taking a 'train the trainer' mentality, Lori's team in partnership with Danielle Young, Director of Alumni Relations, are empowering staff, faculty, alumni, and parents to have a shared understanding of 'What Advising Is' and how to make it part of the college's strategic core. During Lori's talk, we dissected the difference between Coaching, Training, Advising, and Mentorship, which helps provide a framework for roles that each university stakeholder can play.

- 2017 was a busy year for UCAS and the higher education sector, with new tools, qualifications reforms, and technological enhancements. UCAS saw double the audience reach of a popular TV show during confirmation and clearing. - Acceptances were down 1% at the end of the cycle compared to 2016, but clearing was faster this year.
