What’s a Logo?

Logo is a graphical element (mark, symbol, icon,
or character) that represents an organization.
It could represent the services, characteristics,
value of the business but the key purpose of logo
is Identification & Recognition and to provide a
competitive advantage to the business.
Example: Logo serves the same purpose a business
what face does for a person.
A person has a lot distinctive body parts & features but
other than face we hardly use any of them to identify
the person. Similarly, logo are also used to identify the
brand among all the other brands.

Branding is a customer’s feeling towards a brand.
It’s not limited to designing the brand elements,
marketing collaterals, and ads. It should reflect in
all the communication or interaction that a
person has with the brand.
Example: If a business is a person then what
people think about that about that person, what
they say about him/her, defines the branding.

One can’t draw a circle without defining the center first.”
