Lidl has developed innovative logistics centers that reduce building surface area and fit optimally into surroundings. Lidl also focuses on employee development through free trainings on soft skills and language courses, as well as promotions. Lidl has developed a new concept of Logistics centers that takes into
account economic, ecological and social aspects. An innovative
approach allows reducing yhe building Surface, including through the
possibility of storing goods on the floor. Their distribution centers
require areas with a much smaller area and optimally fit into the
surroundings.

7. The biggest Logistics center in Poland
Lidl launched its largest and most modern in Poland as well as the most
innovative logistics center in Europe in Kałuszyn, in the Minsk poviat. It
will contain a warehouse of food and industrial goods for stores located
in the Mazowieckie, Podlaskie and Lubelskie Voivodships. The cubature
of the facility is similar to the capacity of the Palace of Culture and
Science, and the floor area would be enough for more than 5 football
fields. Construction was completed at the end of 2018.
