SIPOC MODEL IN MOROCCAN ENGINEERING EDUCATION CONTEXT: LEAN APPROACHijejournal
Morocco country faces a set of challenges related to the global economic crisis which strongly affects the
funding dedicated to different development sector. In this way, engineering schools are expected to respond
to higher education's heightened requirement while using the minimum amount of resources. Lean thinking
is a systematic approach to improve the efficiency of the educational process by promoting continuous

way of visualizing process flow and how inputs are transformed into outputs using different resources. The
purpose of this study is to introduce the first two principles of lean thinking, namely value definition and
process mapping, in Moroccan engineering education. Firstly we have chosen to study the ENSEM
(National Higher School of Electricity and Mechanics) processes. We have described its learning system in
order to define the value and elabora

The objectives are to enable people to acquire skills needed for changing labor markets and support providers in enhancing transparency and flexibility of learning. Recommendations include adopting the definition and standards, developing ecosystems for micro-credentials, and using them to upskill and reskill workers and support education and training. Member states would implement measures using EU funds and the Commission would support research, tools, cooperation and monitoring progress.
This document discusses a project proposal for Youth Work TVET College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The objectives are to identify income generating activities at TVET colleges and examine how income is collected and utilized. It will assess departments and solve problems related to income generation. It aims to eventually stop receiving capital budgets from the government.
The project will benefit students, teachers, and the community. It outlines the organizational structure, three-year budget and strategic plan, and implementation process. Challenges like lack of experts are addressed with solutions like training. Monitoring and evaluation will oversee the project's execution.
Strategies for promoting globally competitive engineering education in indiaThanikachalam Vedhathiri
The document discusses strategies for improving engineering education in India. It outlines a quality circle approach used to gather solutions from senior faculty on improving junior and middle level faculty as well as graduate students. The quality circles identified ways to enhance faculty development through summer/winter schools, increased pay, mentoring, and blended online programs. For students, suggestions included developing global curricula, internships, accreditation, and blended professional development. Overall the document recommends greater industry collaboration, national policy support, and digital technology adoption to modernize engineering education in India.
Challenges in Developing a Doctoral Training Centre for Industry CollaborationUKCGE
The document summarizes a Doctoral Training Centre established in 2022 at a university to provide industry-aligned PhD training. It has 42 PhD students across various disciplines conducting research with industrial partners. The training program aims to develop industry skills and foster collaboration. Some challenges include developing training that complements university programs and provides added value to students, with a focus on skills like project management, communication, and careers. Example student projects involve healthcare, climate change, and autonomous transportation. The center models industry collaboration through joint supervision, regular meetings, data access, and key decision involvement.
This document discusses a project called MEGS-KT (£71,000) led by Drs Andrea Wheeler and Paul Rowley. The project aims to develop an online continuing professional development (CPD) platform for the energy sector by collaborating with the existing Midlands Energy Graduate School (MEGS) community. The project addresses skills shortages by exploiting synergies between universities and small/medium enterprises. It has engaged industry representatives through workshops and captured lectures. Challenges include losing an IT developer and the need for temporary support to complete a working demonstrator platform.
Temple of Asclepius in Thrace. Excavation resultsKrassimira Luka
The temple and the sanctuary around were dedicated to Asklepios Zmidrenus. This name has been known since 1875 when an inscription dedicated to him was discovered in Rome. The inscription is dated in 227 AD and was left by soldiers originating from the city of Philippopolis (modern Plovdiv).
This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
