The document discusses the emergence of property rights from a state of nature without organized force or selective benefits. In a pre-state or minimum production society, group and individual interests are indistinguishable to ensure cooperation. However, as productivity increases due to factors like agricultural advances, surplus production leads to conflicts over resources as free-rider opportunities emerge. This drives groups to develop organized force and selective benefits to manage internal disputes and define enforced claims over resources, representing an early form of property rights emerging out of abundance rather than scarcity.
No organisation can work on its primary task without the use of power by its members. If people work together on a complex task, they have to work in different groups on different hierarchical levels. That means that there are differences in status, resources, expertise, access to information, and that these differences are used to influence others: Power.

The One Percent of people
People came to U.S for a better opportunity and a quality life, but the reality is only one percent of the population in America gets an opportunity and the wealth. Most people don’t realize the economic Inequality that is going on in the country. Did you know that their is only percent of the people in the U.S that is “rich” and because of this reason they control more than half of the County.” America has long prided itself on being a fair society, where everyone has an equal chance of getting ahead, but the statistics suggest otherwise: the chance of a poor citizen, or even a middle-class citizen, making it to the top in America are smaller than in Europe (Stiglitz 751). How can this be the American dream ?
A Professor at Columbia Univeristy, Joseph E. Stiglitz, also an American economist wrote an article called “Of the 1%, by the 1%,for the 1%.” Stiglitz said “the level of inequality in the U.S. has been increasing very rapidly”, and "we've been getting more unequal while other countries have been becoming less unequal”(Stiglitz 746).Based on what Stiglitz said in the article we can conclude that the American income inequality is getting worse than a decade ago. The Author also said that “The upper 1 percent of Americans are now taking in nearly a quater of the nations income every year” (Stiglitz 746).Another article titled “A Court For The One Percent: How The Supreme Court Contributes To Economic Inequality”, written by Michele Gilman, states that “As Stiglitz explains, government sets the rule of the game by establishing the playing field for unionzation, corporate governance, and competition laws.”(Gliman 396). Both articles discuss Inequality, but Gliman also talkes about the Constitution.
First, “The core principle of the Court’s class doctrine is that the constition does not ensure any minmum level of entitlement or standard of living. No one is constitutionally entitled to food, housing, medical care, or education.”(Gliman 402) This shows that the constition does not guarantee and create social and economic rights. Its the major cause of economic inequality and, speicificaly, with Supreme Court doctrine.

Running head: ORGANISATIONAL EXPANSION
ORGANISATIONAL EXPANSION
NAME:

INSTITUTION:
DATE:
Unit 5 Individual Project
A major producer of plastics in the United States is about to expand its business. As part of this expansion, it will begin to sell its products in Europe and Asia. In addition, it plans to open a plant in Asia. Jerry, the President and CEO, is concerned; he has heard many stories of companies that have tried to expand globally but operations either failed miserably or did not live up to expectations due to the cultural differences between workers and customers in each country.
Jerry has asked your group to research problems other companies have had with this issue and develop ways in which the errors and missteps those companies made can be avoided by his company.
As a group you should select a multinational corporation or international nonprofit agency that has encountered these problems (this can be a previous or current employer of yours). Using the Internet and the library, each individual in the group will research the organization to discover any cultural barriers that organization encountered and what its managers did to try to overcome those barriers.
Please note that this assignment has both a group component and an individual assignment.
Group Component:
· As a group generate and evaluate reasons why people may not appreciate the cultural point of view of others. Each individual in the group should at least 5 resources or materials (citations) (three of the five citations may come from the textbook)
· As a group discuss how appreciating cultural diversity affects peoples' ability to communicate effectively in the context of a multinational corporation or an international nonprofit agency. Feel free to add your own experiences as well as quoting others. Please share the resources, materials and citations that you find and collect on the small group discussion board.
Steps to be taken to ensure the success of the company.
Domestic competition
The company needs to put first competition from other companies producing the same goods and commodities. For the company to expand, this is the factor to put more emphasize on. Proper enhancing of competition has proven viable in evolving the business of an organization. Importation of a firm’s services and products makes it possible for an organization to overcome domestic competition. (Wickham, 2005).
Profit and sales increment.
An organizational success or failure lies on its sales and the amount of profit it makes from these sales. The way a product is received by consumers helps an organization on how to improve or in the production of other products and services. It is through this reflection that gives an organization the way forward for its expansion. (Lynch, 2003).
Global market share.
Global market share enables an organization to expand successfully. This policy is important for an organization to build on its market shar.
This report explores the framing of solidarity, and specifically the misleading ways that terms like "Middle Class" and "Global South" conceal more than they reveal about the structure of power in social movements around the world.
Conflict is Human Nature and since society, organizations and associations involves more than one individual, conflict is bound to happen and in most cases subconsciously individuals adjust, tune, and adapt to accommodate other’s point of view to reduce the conflict. This is Conflict Management which is a integral process and takes place without even us knowing about it.

This weeks discussion focus is Group Psychology. The study of gro.docxbrockdebroah
This week's discussion focus is "Group Psychology". The study of group psychology is literally what its name suggests, the study of how groups intentionally or unintentionally influence individuals who are in the presence or members of groups. We can't leave a course on the psychology of terrorism without examining this important area of research, because historically nothing has proven as powerful in shaping human behavior. We are group beings. We live, work and play with and among others. Although professional ethics won't allow researchers to attempt to discern the influences that groups exert on human behavior by experimentally isolating individuals from the moment of birth and across their lifetimes, a number of landmark research efforts have given us insight into the reactions of individuals in group settings.
Before participating in this week's discussion, you must watch the following:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XfOYFpjH7o
Group living has been essential for our survival since the first humans walked the Earth. Beyond just surviving, people who accurately identify, value, and cooperate with in-group members enjoy numerous material and psychological benefits. However, group life is also a source of social strife and destruction. From Israelis and Palestinians to Red Sox and Yankees fans, group identity has led to innumerous conflicts. Much of the research into this intergroup conflict has focused on group members’ perceptions of the other. However, this focus neglects that when we become part of an “us,” we change as well. Recent evidence from psychology and neuroscience indicates that individuals acting on behalf of a group will often act more ruthlessly than individuals acting alone. Better understanding how we change when we shift from “me versus you” to “us versus them” may generate new avenues for interventions among individuals and groups in conflict.

How to stop ISIS' recruitment methods. Inside the key components of the terrorist organization
Once you have viewed these two videos, submit a post by Thursday that pulls together at least two common threads found across these videos and use them to articulate your understanding of possible origins of terrorists' actions. NOTE: The sources aren't intended to explain all terrorist motivations or choices. They illuminate, as have all our other readings to date, some elements of the psychology of terrorism. You job here is to tease from them common themes that inform our understanding of it.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

57. New Condition—Proto-State (K)G i Group i A Restored Equilibrium Condition PH1 i I I I I I I I In this new condition, the state of nature condition remains in different locations, but the most severe violence will be managed. With the guarantee that the new king (K) will maintain both Group interest (G i) and Pledgeholder interests (PH 1...n ), the persons in conflict can return to “Always Co-operate” at least as regards the group of pledgeholders and the king. The King (K) will necessarily retain an ability of self-help since he is in control of all violence—so he remains in the state of nature viz a viz all others, including his pledgeholders. But the King will be strongly motivated to satisfy his pledgeholders, since his position will ultimately depend on their selecting “Always Co-operate.” PH2 i PH3 i PH42 i PH5 i
58. New Condition—Proto-State (K)G i Group i A(t) Restored Equilibrium Condition PH1 i I I I I I I I The original claims would have been somewhat varied and inchoate. Originally, all that is required is that the Proto-King arbitrate and then defend claims presented by pledgeholders. It is these claims that will determine the sorts of “rights” that the new king can and will defend. These can, will, and must be expressed in law. It is specifically the need and desire of prospective pledgeholders and their desire to limit their violence among themselves with respect to those claims that makes them willing to submit to the proto-king. The key to success is the status relationship with the proto-king. Only Pledgeholders have “rights.” And specifically the right to demand from the proto-king satisfaction in disputes. 60. (t)State Limiting Conditions (K)G i Group i A(t) Restored Equilibrium Condition PH1 i I I I I I I I The First Problem “solved” is internal violence within the group. All group members are motivated to maintain an equilibrium of conflict (Don’t Co-operate) in order to secure/maintain/grow surplus and abundance. Success of the model will principally depend upon (K) successfully maintaining control of recourse to force and violence among PH. The model creates a coalition of force-users that provides for both external defense (military) and internal stability (policing). Co-operation among (PH) is secured by (K) delivering tangible, specific, and difficult to remove benefits. Non-Interest holders (I) will experience a “neighborhood effect” through the stability created, even though they possess no specific benefits. PH2 i PH3 i PH4 i PH5 i
61. Notes on — Proto-State (K)G i Group i A Restored Equilibrium Condition PH1 i I I I I I I I The original claims would have been somewhat varied and inchoate. Within groups this would seem a likely opportunity for the emergence on non-magical religion in the form of structured moralities that support the overall model of co-operation and mutual support that has been created. Generalized “moral” behavior would be very important to the success of the scheme established. Notions of “honor” would also need to play a large role in a system without a great deal of available subtlety in enforcement options. It is clearly evident that the PH group has an ability to organize into its own interest group, independent of either K or I. This is the model of the first systems with their proto-aristocracies.
