This document summarizes a library instruction collaboration between Montgomery College and its Gateway to College program. [1] It describes how librarians planned and delivered a multi-session library instruction program aligned with the Gateway curriculum to teach information literacy skills. [2] The librarians used performance-based assessments like online activities and reflection papers to evaluate student learning outcomes, with a focus on evaluating sources and developing search strategies. [3] The collaboration faced challenges with coordination and assessment but worked to continuously improve and clarify sessions.
