This document describes a student project to design and deploy an RFID-assisted navigation system for vehicles (VANETs). The project aims to address delays in GPS-based systems by using RFID tags to track vehicle position within seconds. An AT89S52 microcontroller will be used to read RFID tags via a reader and antenna, and send position information to a vehicle's LCD display. The system design involves hardware components like the microcontroller, RFID modules, motor, and LCD. Circuit diagrams and the pin layout of the microcontroller are also provided.
