mind when we are prophesying.
• We need to observe them and stay in a humble
attitude to become a clean instrument of the
Lord.
• We need to learn how to become a
“Voice of the Lord”.
• You don’t want to be an echo of other voices.
5. PROPHECY MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE
WITH SCRIPTURE

and training in righteousness,
6. PROPHECY WILL GIVE GLORY TO
JESUS, THE SON OF GOD
• 1John 4:1-3 (NIV)
• 4 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see
whether they are fromGod, because many false prophets have gone
out into the world. 2This is how you can recognize the Spirit ofGod:
Every spirit that acknowledges that JesusChrist has come in the
flesh is fromGod, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus
is not fromGod.This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have
heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
7. PROPHECY WILL:
CONVICT,BUT NOT CONDEMN.

the world to condemn the world, but
to save the world through him.
8. PROPHECY WILL: PRESENT THE
LORD AS A SOLUTION,
IF FACING A PROBLEM.

all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at
work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in
Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and
ever! Amen.
9. PROPHECY WILL: NOT
BE CONTROLLING.
• 2 Timothy 2:24 (NIV)
•24 And the Lord’s servant must not be
quarrelsome but must be kind to
everyone, able to teach, not resentful.
10. PROPHECY WILL:
STAND THE TEST OF TIME.
• Deuteronomy 18:21-22 (NKJV)
•21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know
the word which the LORD has not spoken?’—
22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD,
if the thing does not happen or come to pass,
that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken;
the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you
shall not be afraid of him.
11. PROPHECY WILL:
BE TESTED.

•29 Two or three prophets should
speak, and the
others should weigh carefully what
is said.
12. PROPHECY WILL:
BE A SIGN TO THE UNBELIEVER.
• 1 Corinthians 14:24-25 (NIV)
•24 But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while
everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are
brought under judgment by all, 25 as the secrets of their
hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship
God, exclaiming, “God is really
among you!”
13. PROPHECY WILL:
INVITE THE PERSON TO GROW.
• 1 Corinthians 14:3 (NIV)
•3 But the one who prophesies speaks
to people for their strengthening,
encouraging and comfort.
14. PROPHECY WILL: BE GIVEN IN
PROPORTION TO THE SPEAKER’S
FAITH.
• Romans 12:6 (NIV)
•6 We have different gifts, according to
the grace given to each of us. If your
gift is prophesying, then prophesy in
accordance with your faith;
15. PROPHECY WILL: EDIFY, NOT
DESTROY.
• Build the Body, make it whole; not causing division
or strife.
• Ephesians 4:11-12 (NIV)
•11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the
evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people
for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built
up
16. THE BIBLE IS THE FINAL
WORD OF GOD.
• The New Testament is our authority.
• The NT endorses the Old Testament.
• NT and OT are the inspired Word of God.
• The whole bible is our measuring tool for all
teachings and prophecies.
• The bible teaches what we should believe and how
we must live.

•16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons
and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men
shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
20. My dear friends, It is the precious
Anointing of the Holy Spirit
that enables people that don’t have
An office of Prophet,
Or the Gift of Prophecy,
to come under the Power
of the Prophetic Anointing,
making them able to prophecy!
21. Numbers 11:25 (NKJV)
• 25 Then the LORD came down in the cloud, and spoke
to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him,
and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it
happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that
they prophesied, although they never
did so again.[a]
22. Numbers 11:27-29 (NKJV)
• 27 And a young man ran and told Moses, and said,
“Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”
• 28 So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of
his choice men, answered and said, “Moses my lord,
forbid them!”
• 29 Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my
sake? Oh, that all the LORD’s people were
prophets and that the LORD would put His Spirit
upon them!”
24. 1 Samuel 10:5-6 (NKJV)
• 5 After that you shall come to the hill of God where
the Philistine garrison is. And it will happen, when
you have come there to the city, that you will meet
a group of prophets coming down from the high
place with a stringed instrument, a tambourine, a
flute, and a harp before them; and they will be
prophesying. 6 Then the Spirit of the LORD will come
upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be
turned into another man.
25. 1 Samuel 19:20 (NKJV)
• 20 Then Saul sent messengers to take David. And
when they saw the group of prophets prophesying,
and Samuel standing as leader over them, the Spirit
of God came upon the messengers of Saul, and they
also prophesied.
26. In our days
• This prophetic atmosphere is created through
worship.The higher and intense the worship is, the
stronger the anointing comes.
• Charismatic meetings. Prophetic gatherings.
• Intercessory meetings. Prayer meetings.
• Teaching gatherings, and Community services.
27. The prophetic anointing of a man of God
• The atmosphere of the Prophetic.
• When a servant of the Lord is preaching or teaching,
whether this ministry has a prophetic anointing or
nor, the Lord can during the service cause the Spirit
of prophecy to descent upon some presents.

• Painting. Making melodies.

31. What is imagination?
• The faculty or action of forming new ideas, or
images or concepts of external objects not present
to the senses.
• The ability of the mind to be creative or resourceful.
• The part of the mind that imagines things.
32. Your sanctified intellect and imagination.
• Prophecy involves a combination of intellectual perfection and
imaginative perfection.
• Every person possesses these qualities in different degrees.
• Some people have enough wisdom for their own lives, while others
have wisdom to help change society and the world.
• Other people may have highly-developed imaginative abilities but
average intellect.
33. • A small percentage of people can have their imaginative faculties
finely developed, and mistakenly believe that what they see in their
visions or see in their dreams is prophecy.
• Only throw wisdom this visions can be discerned what is fromGod
and what is product from their own desires.
• A good understanding of the word of God is needed to be able to
stablish the differences.

34. • A wise person with great imagination, who
possesses the potential to prophecy, might receive
only enough prophecy to be sufficient for self-
perfection, or he might receive prophecy to the
degree that it could change others’ lives as well. If
he receives the greater degree, he will feel
compelled to share it with others regardless of
whether or not they listen to him.
35. • This is why so many prophets in the OT continued to
address the people until they were killed.They were
compelled by the Divine inspiration they received
from the Holy Spirit. Such a force is so compelling
that they couldn’t stop, despite the threats of
personal violence that they faced.
36. ACTIVATION PRACTICE.
• In the following three slides we have a narrative of one
the famous stories of the NT. “ The adulterous woman”.
• Ask to the Holy Spirit to give you some revelation on
the physical actions (movements) of the Lord, what do
you think those actions are telling you. Let the Lord
guide you out of the common and bring you into the
land of personal revelation.
37. PROPHECY WILL:
LOVE THE SINNER BUT HATE SIN.
• John 8:3-11 (NIV)
•3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought
in a woman caught in adultery. They made her
stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher,
this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In
the Law Moses commanded us to stone such
women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using
this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for
accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to
write on the ground with his finger.
38. PROPHECY WILL:
LOVE THE SINNER BUT HATE SIN.
•7 When they kept on questioning him, he
straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you
who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8
Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 At
this, those who heard began to go away one at a time,
the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the
woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up
and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one
condemned you?” 11 “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither
do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave
your life of sin.”

• Have you ever find yourself saying things that you
never wanted to say? Or maybe noticed that the
manner in which you said hurt the listener?

Spirit of God pointing it out to you? or was a
condemning feeling you were experiencing?
