A talk by Arjen Hoekstra, creator of the ‘water footprint’
concept and the interdisciplinary research field of
water footprint assessment, which addresses the relations
between water management, consumption and trade.
His talk will cover:
• What is a 'water footprint' and why does it matter?
• How does the 'livestock water footprint’
differ in developing and developed countries?
• Do we have enough water to meet
