GUIDELINES & MECHANICS
•The coverage of the quiz bee includes English
subject only.
•There will be three (3) components in the
competition namely: LAX ROUND, SERIOUS
ROUND and the FUNNY ROUND.
GUIDELINES & MECHANICS
• The LAX ROUND has ten (10) questions worth 2
points, the SERIOUS ROUND has eight (8) questions
worth 3 points and the FUNNY ROUND has ten (10)
questions worth 5 points.
• The questions will be read by the quizmaster twice.
GUIDELINES & MECHANICS
•After the second (2nd) reading, the Quizmaster
shall say “go”, and the participants can write
their answers.
•Lax round has 20 seconds time limit; Serious
round with 20 seconds, and Funny round with 30
seconds.

•In case of deadlock, a clincher question shall be
provided and the participant to first give the
answer wins.
•The participant with the highest point shall be
declared as the winner.
