Gordon Camara, an ambulance nurse in Monrovia, Liberia, warns that any small mistake in handling the Ebola virus can lead to infection. By 2014, the Ebola outbreak had caused over 13,000 cases and more than 1/3 of those cases proved fatal. However, many of these cases could have been prevented through better information sharing about practices like careful hygiene, avoiding bush meat and contact with infected individuals, and proper handling of remains. The solution lies in ensuring information about prevention flows more widely than the virus itself.
