Peers influence our decisions and behaviors through the way they act and the things they own. Life skills refer to the abilities needed to effectively deal with everyday demands and challenges. The story describes a shy child who was initially hesitant to audition for a play but overcame their shyness, tried out the next day, and was selected for the lead role.

2.  Peers are our like minded friends and companions.
 It is natural for human beings to identify and compare
themselves to people with whom they interact.
 We, along with our friends make dozens of decision
everyday and in the process we influence and get
influenced by each other.
 Our friends influenced us in many ways the way they
dress, think, act, take decision and also with the things
they own.

4. It was the most awaited event of the year- The
Annual Theatre Festival. As expected every child
tried to take lead in his/her area of expertise and
interest. I was also given a chance to give auditions
for dramatics. But I hesitated performing of my
shy nature. And then when the girl of the lead role
was chosen, I was very gloomy, not because she
proved to be the centre of attention but because I
knew I had the potential. So I made up my mind
and went to give the audition the very next day.
The judges declared me selected. So, seize the
moment and right.
