Julie Sykes, of HR consultancy JCS HR, explains why having a thorough induction process is essential to ensure you receive the best from your new employee.
It is difficult to overstate the importance of a good induction. Many companies assume that once they have gone through a selection process and found the person they believe is right for their company and position, the recruitment process is complete.
The better the selection process, the better the chances that an employee will remain with the company, and good recruitment will ensure that not only have you found the right employee for the job, but also the company is the right one for the individual.
Businesses that do a good job of onboarding have higher
engagement and retention rates than those that don’t,
and it doesn’t take long for new hires to decide whether
or not they’re going to stick around.
The first few months are critical, so you really need to
make sure your onboarding programs are pulling their
weight.

In Va’era, Pharaoh refuses to allow the children of Isra’el to leave Mitsrayim, even after Aharon exhibits miraculous powers, transforming his staff into a serpent. The first seven plagues strike Mitsrayim: Blood, Frogs, Gnats, Flies, Pestilence, Boils, and Fiery Hail.
In Bo, the last three plagues—Locust, Darkness, and Death of the Firstborn—are inflicted upon the Mitsrites. Moshe commands the children of Isra’el concerning the Pesach meal and the laws of the Seder. After the final plague, Pharaoh unconditionally releases the children of Isra’el from his land.

In Beshalach, Pharaoh pursues the children of Isra’el into the wilderness. The Sea of Suf splits, the children of Isra’el cross the sea while the Mitsrite army is drowned. Moshe and the children of Isra’el sing a special song thanking Elohim for this miracle. The children of Isra’el complain about a lack of food and drink. Elohim sends man and quail for them to eat, and miraculously produces water from a rock. ‘Amalek attacks Isra’el and is soundly defeated.

been amazing. Getting to learn how and where jobs are
posted, the application process of reviewing and hiring,
the process of performance plans and sourcing, and
attending a Webinar on Unlocking the Potential to Lead &

the information I am learning in the classroom to my

beneficial because I attained skills that will benefit me in
my future career and that will be something I will keep
with me for the rest of my life.
