2. Introduction
 John W. Pacheco is an Arizona professional with more
than three decades of experience in real estate
development and investment. From 1978 to 2009, he
served as the CEO of Financial American Corporation.
John W. Pacheco is also an active philanthropist,
supporting such organizations as the Liberty Wildlife
Rehabilitation Foundation.
The Liberty Wildlife Rehabilitation Foundation aims to
protect Arizona’s nature through education, wildlife
rehabilitation, and community conservation efforts.
The Foundation operates the Assistance for Wildlife
Educators (AWE) Sponsorship Program, which allows
donors to contribute to the rehabilitation and care of
one of the organization’s education animals.

3. Liberty Wildlife Rehabilitation
Foundation
 At the fledgling level of sponsorship, donors
pay for one year of an animal’s care and, in
return, receive a certificate and a card with the
animal’s photo and story. Additional levels of
sponsorship allow donors to tour the Liberty
Wildlife facility and to receive unique
hardcover books featuring sponsored animals.
The highest level of sponsorship funds the
upkeep of non-releasable raptors, which raise
wild orphaned raptors so they easily adapt
when released back into their natural
environment.
