Which should I trust the most LH surge or temperature rise?
My LH surge and temperature rising for ovulation did not match up like they were supposed to.
I kno the LH surge is supposed to come within 12-36 hours before temperature rise and
ovulation. Well I did get an LH surge, but it happened at the same time as my temperature rise
of .5 and it stayed raised for 5 days now.

Which OPKs are you using? I bought the “Answer” brand and I started getting positives
Saturday and had one up until yesterday (Wednesday). With a more $$ brand, I only saw a
24-hour surge,…granted within the same time frame as the Answer brand. I believe some OPKs
are more sensitive than others….so it’s possible you bought a brand that has a high sensitivity
level (meaning it detects it better than other OPKs).
Are you charting your temps at all? That helps too…it can pinpoint ovulation. This is my first
month temping and I wish I would have used it sooner!

4. It occurs after. It’s the the surge which causes the follicle to release the egg. Usually you
