Save wiring and installation time
with the flexible modular solution
Leviton’s Omni-Bus controls lights, shades, fans, shutters,
pumps, and more. Utilizing the worldwide DIN rail standard
for mounting, this bus and controller based management
family controls CFL, LED, electronic low voltage, Halogen,
and incandescent lighting. Each hard-wired or wireless device
works in 110-120VAC/220-240VAC 50-60Hz markets unless
otherwise noted. Modular Omni-Bus components can be
located where needed to save wiring and installation costs.
Elegant, multi-button programmable wall switches eliminate
the expense of in-wall high voltage wiring to multi-way
switches. Whereas competing central lighting systems
require home runs to a single central cabinet, Omni-Bus
power wiring is minimized as controllers can be localized
to switches and switches can be programmed to perform
a number of actions.
How Does it Work?
All modules in an Omni-Bus system are connected together
using a low voltage Cat5 UTP bus. The electronics in each
module are powered by the bus. High voltages in output
modules are optically isolated from the bus. Buttons on wired
or wireless wall stations can be configured to operate any
Omni-Bus load or scene. Omni-Bus architecture includes low
cost splitters and T-connections for ease of installation and
expandability. Omni-Bus network can be star, hub and spoke,
daisy chain or a combination. Splitters allow for a free
topology architecture. Versatility that’s perfect for small
businesses, featuring the benefits of central lighting control
with the flexibility of distributed control systems.

Omni-Bus features free setup software
available online. All modules are CE,
C-Tick, SASO, FCC and UL (ETL)
approved.
Use Any Momentary Contact Switch
The Omni-Bus network allows for utilization of Leviton
wired and wireless wall stations as well as many third party
momentary contact switches. Simply connect the Universal
Switch Interface Module (part number 114A00-1) to connect
up to six third-party switches. Six LED outputs control
two-lead bi-color or single color LED indicators for each
switch. Use multiple Universal Switch Interface Modules
in a job if desired.
DIN Rail Modules Explained
Omni-Bus Lighting Control Modules can be utilized to control
lights, shades, fans, shutters, pumps, and more. Diagnostic
LED’s on the devices help with installation of nodes on the
network. Standard UTP data cable is used between the
devices and features up to 1000m Omni-Bus cable length.
Omni-Bus components assure properly terminated data
cable for high speed data bus – no jumpers to set. The
Omni-Bus network is powered by a low supply voltage
(24VDC) power supply. Each module is optically isolated
from the mains supply side, making modules safer for users
and installers. Leviton’s modules are resistant to electrical
surges and lightning.
Connect to Automation Systems
For remote access, scheduling abilities, and complete
automation, consider Leviton’s Omni security automation
system for total control over a home or building. Omni-Bus
easily integrates into the universal system.
