LENGTH OF THE LESSON: 40 MINUTES
CLASS DESCRIPTION: There are twenty-three students in this group, all of them are between
ten and eleven years old. They have English classes twice a week, each class lasts forty
minutes. This group of students works at its pace, which is rather slowly. Their proficiency level
is A1.
SKILLS TO BE EMPHASIZED: Listening, speaking, reading and writing.

AIMS:
By the end of this class, students will reinforce vocabulary regarding sports and they will learn
expression about skills, likes and dislikes. They will have revised structures used when
exchanging personal information (my name is… I’m …years old)

Anticipated problems: Some students could have problems in the understanding of some new
structures presented-
Possible solutions: We will provide them the necessary help in order to overcome that
problem using visual aids, gestures and making a wise use of L1 and L2.
