Editor's Notes

  • #3 With intention, Du’aa, and then support of Allah… NO PROBLEM INSHA-ALLAH.
  • #4 This prayer was taught to the Prophet. Surah Taha: وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَى إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا So, make sure to pray with this as often as u can. Before/After every salah!? A diseased person wants to get rid of disease and prays days and nights. A person hungry for days prays for food days and night. Let us pray like a sick person who wants to get rid of sickness of ignorance; like the one who really feels hunger of divine knowledge.
  • #5 Part of 1 st wahee. So, make sure to get your pens ready! Don’t neglect it. If you write, you will have to focus on listening, understanding and concentration. It will be very easy to revise. You will know where to focus. You will remmeber the associated points, tips too. You may use highlighters too (1 SR?) for the difficult words. READY EACH ONE???
  • #6 Shaitaan is ready with his arsenal. You have started learning Qur’an… He must be burning on coals! He will try his best to stop you from this. Angels are ready (always!) with their pens. A speical competition has begun. It is MOST SERIOUS ISSUE. Don’t spare any effort to interact.
  • #9 Show the rules first. We will use all our senses. It is called TPI or TPR. It really enhances the learning. And note that this is not limited to these 6 pronouns. It has much more to do with all the verb forms that we will learn. You have spared so much time and came all the way. Don’t listen to Shaitaan. Don’t be shy to use these directions. We are learning the words of Qur’an here. If you use them, your learning will be easier and quicker. The rule for repetition is: Teacher (Ar+Ur) – Student (Ar+ Ur) * 3 times T(Ar) – St (Ur) * 3 times T(AA) – St(AA) * 3 times (in pairs; ex: huwa, hum – huwa, hum, …)

  • #12 Remember the rules of making masculine plurals. Both ‘oon’ and ‘een’ is OK. Which comes where? That is already taken care of by Allah! Don’t worry about it now. T(A+U) – S(A+U) : 1 time T(A) – S(U) : 2 times T(A) – S(U) : 2 times Singular-plural : Practice it once!
  • #13 Get more images of right and left brain; and the quadrants; use them all. (color – highlighter, color pens).
  • #14 What has this got to do with UQ? Everything. Basic challenge in UQ is remembering the meanings. So, use all your faculties to remember. Remember the lightening in the clouds (between +ve and –ve charges). Something like that… The more ‘lightenings’ we create in our brain, the easier it will be to learn the meaning of the words, retain it, and recall it. So, don’t be shy in saying out loud and using your hands. And for new words, underline them, use highlighter, color pens….
