This document provides a lesson on understanding the Qur'an and salah. It discusses practicing tasbeeh, conveying the meaning of Subhanallah to others, and evaluating and planning one's efforts to understand and spread the message of the Qur'an. It also covers Arabic grammar rules for weak letters and broken plurals, and motivates the reader to dedicate time daily to fully understanding the Qur'an within 200 hours.

5. New Words… To do Jihad (utmost struggle using one’s capabilities and resources) جَاهِدُوا earth (Similar sounds of أرض and earth) الْأَرْضِ plural of سَمَاء (sky) سَمَاوَاتِ to negate the negatives; to say that Allah is free from any defect; to say سُبْحَانَ الله يُسَبِّحُ

6. Soild Plurals Formed by addition of ون or ين for masculine gender. Formed by addition of ات for feminine gender. مُسْلِمَة فَاعِلَة صَابِر فَاعِل مُسْلِمَات Feminine Gender فَاعِلاَت صَابِرُون، صَابِرِين Masculine Gender فَاعِلُون، فَاعِلين

7. Broken Plurals These plurals do not follow the rules of Solid Plurals. deity, god إِله آلِهَة slave عَبْد عِبَاد soul نَفْس أَنفُس، نُفُوس wealth; money مَال أَمْوَال sky; heavens سَمَاء سَمَاوَاتِ

8. يُسَبِّحُ ِللهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ How much of Tasbeeh do I do it? Especially after prayers? And what are my feelings while doing it. Plan to include Tasbeeh in your daily time table and do it with understanding. When everything is making Tasbeeh, O Allah! Help me also do it. So many people attach negative things with Allah. Convey the message of Subhanallah to them. Remember the case of a student who cries to Allah to help him succeed in exams but does not go to school nor studies any book. Is he serious in his prayers? 9. يٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا الله َ مَا لَ كُمْ مِّن إِلـٰـهٍ غَيْرُ ه How much of my time, my capabilities and money is going for Dawah? Do individual and team plans and efforts to spread the word. O Allah! Help me invite my people to Your path. Help me to be kind with them (‘my people’) Propagate the message. This is the call made by every prophet to his people. 11. Weak Letters Weak or ‘sick’ letters ( حروف علت ). Why ‘sick’ ( عِلَة )? Because the sounds of these 3 letters are that of a sick person!! (ooo!, aaa!, eee!). They are weak because they get ‘tired’. Beauty is that they work in a team! They keep replacing each other!!! و ي ا

12. دَاعٍ، مَدْعُوّ دُعَاء b نَصَرَ، يَنْصُرُ .. When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs 90% of 197 forms are the ones we are practicing here. تَدْعُو دَعَوْتُ دَعَوْنَا أَدْعُو نَدْعُو دَعَوْتَ دَعَوْتُمْ تَدْعُو تَدْعُونَ اُدْعُ اُدْعُوا لاَ تَدْعُ لاَ تَدْعُوا دَعَا دَعَوْا يَدْعُو يَدْعُونَ دَعَتْ 197 *

13. a فَتَحَ، يَفْتَحُ .. When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs 90% of 277 forms are the ones we are practicing here. تَشَاءُ شِئْتُ شِئْنَا أَشَاءُ نَشَاءُ شِئْتَ شِئْتُمْ تَشَاءُ تَشَاءُونَ شَاءَ شَاءُوا يَشَاءُ يَشَاءُونَ شَاءَتْ 277 *

14. c ضَرَبَ، يَضْرِبُ .. When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs 90% of 236 forms are the ones we are practicing here. جِئْتُ جِئْنَا جِئْتَ جِئْتُمْ جَاءَ جَاءُوا جَاءَتْ 236 *

16. Learning & Motivational Tip

17. 15 minutes Overtime Everyday (For those who say, “I am busy.”) Suppose my company announces, “If you do 15 minutes overtime everyday, you will get 25 % Salary increase.” All of us will GRAB the opportunity. No one will say, “I AM BUSY.” Suppose we earn 2000 units (Dollar, Euros, Dirhams, …) per month. 25% of it will be 500; Per day – 20 If I am ready for this job but not for Al-Qur’an, then for in real terms, in a sense, the value of Qur’an is not even 20!!!

18. Overtime for 200 hours? (For those who study Qur’an at snail’s pace.) Suppose my company announces, “If you do 200 extra hours of work in your service, you will get 200,000 (whatever units of money). Do it 1 hr/day or 1 hr/week. Get 200,000 when you complete 200 hours. Each one of us will try to complete 200 hours asap! No one will complain of any time! We will say: Let us do it asap, get the money, buy a house or car, and enjoy the rest of life.

19. Overtime for 200 hours? Understanding Qur’an requires almost 200 hours of dedication. Once we do that, we can live the rest of life in full Qur’anic light. If we go at the snail’s pace of 1 page per week, it will take 12 years!!! Should we not complete it asap so that we can live the rest of our lives in full Qur’anic light, under Allah’s LIVE guidance?
