This document provides a lesson on righteousness through faith alone in Jesus Christ. It discusses the three aspects of salvation: justification, which removes sins of the past; sanctification, the lifelong process of spiritual growth; and glorification, when believers will be fully restored to God's image. Righteousness is only obtained through faith in Jesus, not works. One must confess sins to receive forgiveness and be born again. Remaining faithful to God through obedience and bearing spiritual fruit is necessary to retain salvation.
2. This is our final lesson. Because our study
has been such a blessing, it seems that we
have come to the final lesson too quick!
We have received wonderful new views of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And how
thrilling to be reminded that God the Father
also loves us more than words can express.
Victory Through Christ
3. In Revelation Jesus our loving Savior has in
special kindness and mercy given us the help
and information we must have for these last
days. Our only hope is to obey His counsel and
accept His offer of assistance. Jesus stated it
clearly: “Behold I come quickly: Blessed is he
that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of
this book” (Rev.22:7)
4. The New International Version
translates Rev.1:3 as follows:
“Blessed is the one who
reads the words of this
prophecy, and blessed are
those who hear it and take to
heart what is written in it,
because the time is near.”
5. In this closing seminar lesson weIn this closing seminar lesson we
will study “righteousness bywill study “righteousness by
faith”. Righteousness comes onlyfaith”. Righteousness comes only
by faith in Jesus. There is no otherby faith in Jesus. There is no other
source of righteousness and theresource of righteousness and there
is no other subject in the Bible sois no other subject in the Bible so
exciting!exciting!
6. Salvation by Faith
1.How is righteousness
obtained?
Romans 3:22
“Even the righteousness of God
which is by faith of Jesus Christ
unto all and upon all them that
believe: for there is no difference:”
7. 2. Do my works
contribute to
salvation? Eph. 2:8,9
“For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is
the gift of God: not of works, lest any
man should boast.”
8. Our Justification
3. What does Christ’s justification
accomplish for me? Rom. 3:24,25
“Being justified freely by His grace
through the redemption that is in Christ
Jesus. Whom God hath set forth to be a
propitiation through faith in His blood, to
declare His righteousness for the
remission of sins that are past, through
the forbearance of God.”
9. Note:
Salvation consists of
three parts -
justification,
sanctification and
glorification.
Justification
removes all the sins
of the past.
10. 4. What must I do to receive
justification or forgiveness
for past sins? 1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness.”
11. Note:Note:

justification called?

again he cannot see the

appear in the Book of Life (Rev.13:8).
Those whose names are in the Book
of Life will be the only ones
permitted to enter God’s new

removed from the Book of Life and
be lost, though he was once saved.
