Observations and questions about educational views and the use of ICTJackie Danekes
Three key observations are made about teachers' educational beliefs and use of ICT: 1) Teacher beliefs significantly influence ICT use; 2) Teachers have mixed educational beliefs rather than one fixed belief; and 3) Presented studies focus on the relationship between beliefs and behavior, but not effectiveness. Four questions are then posed about colleagues, school leaders, student characteristics, and directions for further research.
