Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian polymath born in 1452 known for his diverse skills in art and invention. Some of his most famous works include the Mona Lisa painting, which depicts a woman gazing at the viewer, The Vitruvian Man drawing showing a man within a circle and square, and his mural of The Last Supper scene from the Bible.

Leonardo da Vinci was born in Italy in
1452. He is known for his many and
diverse fields of arts and inventions.

2. The Mona Lisa
 The painting shows a woman gazing at the viewer and it is
said that if you move across the room while looking into
her eyes, they’ll follow you.
 Mona means ‘my lady’ or ‘madam’ in modern Italian, so the
title is just Madam Lisa.
 Many art critics think that the Mona Lisa is a portrait of da
Vinci himself as a lady. Mona Lisa’s smiles very
differently.

3. The Vitruvian Man
 The drawing, which is in pen and ink on
paper, shows a man in two different
positions with his arms and legs apart
and simultaneously inscribed in a circle
and square.

4. The Last Supper
The last supper represents the scene of
the last supper from the final days of
Jesus as it is told in the gospel John
13:21. This is when Jesus announces
that one of his twelve apostles would
betray him.
