Appointment Setting – Property Investment Seminars
My role was to get people to attend Property Investment Seminars. The key to this role
was explaining the benefits that would be gained in retirement and also the tax benefits. I
consistently met my targets. I have also set in-home appointments for people to discuss
wealth creation, retirement planning, tax minimisation, mortgage reduction and property
investment.

Telesales Cold Calling
From the inital cold call I would handle objections, build repport, gather a customers
interests and uncover additional opportunities, design the dream and close the sale. I also
used 3 different types of computer software to process the credit card, assign the
package and dedicate the install time.

Telesales / Business Development Advisor
The company is a National Training Organisation. My job involved cold calling companies
and employees throughout the UK to promote and deliver NVQ’s.

Internal Manager
As Team Manager on verbal contracts in the Telecoms Division, I was responsible for
training and motivating my team in obtaining leads. I closed approximately ten deals
a day, which consistently exceeded the set targets.

UK Sales Executive (External)
I was responsible for all UK product sales and customer relations for the Dental Division
of Hoben International. My key responsibility was to visit dental laboratories on a regular
basis in order to build upon existing relationships in maintaining monthly sales revenue.
Targets were set at £1 million P/A and consistently exceeded.

Marketing Co-ordinator
I was recruited by the Managing Director to set up a dedicated marketing function
supporting an established sales department. I was responsible for developing a small
team; the department’s targets for lead generation, seminar attendance, in house
database administration and direct revenue generation. Due to the nature of the
department I personally provided regular training and development for the members of
the team in line with the demands of a new marketing function.
