An extremely comprehensive, highly visual teaching tool for learning
about food in French. English is used sparingly. A labor of love,
this presentation goes far beyond most textbooks, by including
not only major food groups and food items, but their variations
as well. Example: Whole milk, low-fat milk, skim milk, etc.
Most kitchen utensils included, as well as regions famous for
certain foods (including maps). A few famous recipes (croque-
monsieur, etc). Also included are portion sizes (handful,
sprinkle, clove, pitcher, morsel, mouthful, slice, piece). Useful
vocabulary expressions including slang expressions relating to
food as well (set the table, do the dishes, take out the trash,
junk food). Also included are links for dictation relating to
food. 137 Slides in all. YOU NEED MICROSOFT
POWERPOINT OR COMPATIBLE VIEWER TO VIEW FILES.
