Lean is based on several principles and mindsets: 1) Lean focuses on eliminating waste and only doing things that add value. 2) It encourages questioning whether processes, tasks, and activities truly make sense and are necessary rather than relying on preset answers. 3) Lean involves identifying waste and tradeoffs, understanding why certain steps are taken, and continuously improving and adapting processes and structures to better meet goals.
