 A leader in an organization/group is the

• Promoter of the spirit of coordination among
the group members
• Bearer of the social responsibility.

20. Leadership in Agriculture Workers
Agriculture leaders will face a lot of challenges in the future.
Therefore, they need effective strategies and principles to survive and
keep the farming industry growing.
Agricultural workers as leaders should raise the awareness of farmers,
form functional farmers groups and make decision for solution together
with farmers.
 Agriculture workers as leaders should clearly identifying goals to
which others also aspire, thus increasing productivity, efficiency, and
impact. Agriculture leaders must plan and determine what to achieve
each week, month, and year.
Agricultural research requires strong and effective leadership to be
effective. There must be effective leaders at each individual center,
institution, or location.
